For the price paid I would not expect to arrive and have bed sheets that were many years old (they were clean), a broken toilet seat and a dirty barbecue! "I stayed in the mother poulard room and it was fantastic, clean, comfortable and looked like it just been remodeled ! The view from the room was great too ! Staying on the island is definitely the way to do it it’s like you have the whole place to yourself after all the day tourist leave! The staff was extremely helpful! And there is all kinds of dining and shopping options right down the stairs! Which if you have any mobility issues , this is not the place for you though !"

You have to pay for the parking (but anyone who visits Mont St Michel has to pay for parking). A simple and very clean yet dated/worn hotel with basic amenities. Staff are warm and friendly. I slept great and was able to walk to the bridge that accesses Mont St Michel (about 30 minutes to the island itself). There are many dining options within a few minutes walk. "
