We absolutely loved our stay at Quinta da Marka! It was beautiful and on such a picturesque spot along the river. It was so relaxing and a restful spot for our honeymoon. The train station is nearby to get to other cities if you wanted to, otherwise it is quite isolated in this area. Walking over to Quinta do Crasto for a wine tasting & tour was a highlight of the area too! The Quinta offered breakfast, lunch, and dinner which was very convenient. Angela was so helpful in getting us checked in and recommending things to do. We would recommend this to anyone heading to the Duoro Valley!

Amazing! We will be back.
From the moment we arrived we were welcomed and felt at home. The views from here are just amazing. We would have been happy to have stayed on the terrace all day. All of the staff are so lovely. Angela made sure we were happy and gave us advice on where to visit. Renn & Rosa looked after us at Breakfast & Dinner and cared so much. Milene cooked amazing food each evening there was no need to go out. Thank you everyone we will be back.

I don’t even know where to begin with this amazing place! Angela and staff went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Truly made us feel like family! The property is beautiful with so many areas to walk around including the vineyards! Lots of little contact enjoy the view! The wine and food were amazing! We would go back in a heartbeat!

My stay at Quinta da Marka was amazing! Angela is so wonderful. She goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need and enjoy the experience. She even drove me to and from the train station and to the wineries nearby. The rest of the team is also very kind and helpful. The property is impeccable! Highly recommend!
I spent one night here and had a lovely time. The staff is so kind and welcoming. The room was comfortable and clean and the bathroom was excellent. We were advised by Angela (the property manager) to ask for room 1 next time which has an incredible view of the valley.
