We visit relatives in Rutherford County frequently & have stayed at 3 different hotels over the yrs, but haven't really enjoyed one yet, so we looked for something different this trip & found this option. Boy, did we hit a home run.
It's an historic property with your choice of a stay in the farmhouse guest quarters or two historic cabins on the large property.
We chose the guest quarter option & were pleased with the spacious accommodations & well appointed rooms. All of the choices are rustic, in that they are old, but all have been updated to provide you with all the comforts of home.
You can enjoy walking the trails on the beautiful property, enjoy some peaceful time in the special glass chapel, or just enjoy some peace and quiet time in the lovely foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains of NC.
Laura & Steve are the owners & will go above & beyond the call of duty to make you feel comfortable & welcome. They are happy to share some of the history of the property & throughout the homes.
If you must have a hotel in Rutherford County, your best bet is the Hampton Inn, but if you're looking for a unique & memorable place to stay, the Preserve at Maple Creek will make you happy.
