“When we arrived at the lodge we were supposed to be staying in there was another family there who said the lodge they were supposed to be staying in was occupied so they were given this lodge. We rang the contact number and he apologised, we were provided the key code for another lodge and when i opened the door that was occupied as there was a dog in there. “The building itself is old and as a result has a lot of charm, I needed somewhere to stay close to stoke hospital but didn’t want to break the bank, this hotel didn’t, the staff were all friendly bed was clean and comfy, I will say take toiletries though as the ‘complimentary’ ones consisted of 2 small soaps. Breakfast was lovely and worth the extra expense ”
