"I fell in love as soon as I booked it but when I actually checked in I was thrown back!! This house is a true gem, walking in through the gate you don’t see the house right away so I was second guessing my choice. It’s a hidden gem and a true paradise. I was so impressed from the design to the staff to the service just overall amazing. "Staff was super helpful - set up an airport pickup for me last minute, included a delicious and enormous breakfast on the roof terrace, shared a list of places to visit in colombo, and helped me set up a tour outside of Kandy that I was having some difficulty solidifying. They really went out of their way to be helpful. The room was nice, big, bright, clean bathroom with good toiletries. Area was quiet and convenient, close to parks and cafes. Recommend! "

"this is a small hotel but needs to improve on maintenance big time. Dining hall greets you as you enter the hotel and its full of flies and bad smell, probably from the garbage room beside elevator. took a peek in the kitchen and its filthy. linens are stained and dirty linens lying around everywhere in the corridor. If they can maintain it well, this could be an excellent budget hotel."

"The property is mall and cozy but intimate. There is a pool in the courtyard, a few chairs. Staff is kind, food is tasty and nicely plated. Room are very spacious with a living room sort of but maintaining the property needs some work. Such as walls and floors, sofa and chairs in room needs refurbishing or replacing as such are ripped and stained and it takes away from the overall ambiance. Housekeeping also needs some work especially the morning housekeeping staff who did a really poor job...

"I was very disappointed as I booked room with bath jetted tub and did not get it. Was going to be a great nights stay with friend that I hadn't seen for a while and there was no romance as no bath tub. Very disappointed. Was clean and the guy gave good service but couldn't help on the wrong room. Money aside, it was the romantic setting I wanted and didn't get. "

"The room seems quite square-shape and user-friendly. The TV works but not many channels to tinker with. Shower room’s water-draining is not fast enough, with water seeping out over the Barely-existent blockage while i was showering. Bed is soft and fine.
