The hostess was so helpful. She even had home made bread ready for us on arrival! The rental was immaculate and like our "home away from home!" It was truly in the middle of the glorious Smokey Mountains! What a wonderful view of the mountains! We had a wonderful time! We will be back...

The views were spectacular - looking out over the valley was different from minute to minute. The suite had everything that we needed to fully enjoy our stay. Frank and Ursula were gracious and kind. Lots to do in the area - would highly recommend and would definitely consider staying again!

A Wonderful Respite

We had a few quiet days of "life restoration" in this beautiful location! Fly fishing for my husband, walking and solitude for me. The owner's recommendations in their guest book for dining were excellent, and for places to hike and fish. If you desire a more active vacation, there's plenty close by! We were blessed by our time there :-)

Peaceful mountain stay

This property is the perfect place to rest and rejuvenate after a long week at work or a long hike in Pisgah. The place is spotless, roomy, and well-equipped with all of the necessities you could want. We brought our dog and the owners put out dog bowls and biscuits for her. They even left freshly baked bread as a welcome gift. An absolutely hassle-free weekend with a spectacular view of the Smoky Mountains.

Everything was perfect for our anniversary getaway!

Frank and Ursula obviously put a lot of thought into details that make a stay away from home enjoyable. This is a beautiful and well maintained property with a view for miles of beautiful cloud topped mountains. Views from living room, kitchen, and bedroom too! Everything was clean and tastefully decorated. Really enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful time in the mountains

Great hosts. Very thoughtful with fresh-baked bread waiting for us in the kitchen and the wood for a nice fire ready in the fire pit. The apartment was very comfortable and a great size, with everything you need. The views of the mountains and surrounding valleys were amazing. Lots to do in the area with canoeing, hiking and many lovely waterfalls. Evenings were very peaceful watching the clouds and the sunset from the private yard outside the apartment.

Gift for Friends

I booked Ursula and Frank's place in the mountains for some dear friends to help celebrate their wedding anniversary. Our friends loved the apartment! The views were incredible, and they said the place was super clean, bright, and airy. They also loved being able to bring their small dog. They said Frank and Ursula were terrific hosts—warm, welcoming, and very responsive. Our friends said they highly recommend the apartment and would love to return. As the person making the reservation on their behalf, I found my experience with Ursula to be fantastic and super easy. It's an all-star spot all around! Higly recommend.

Cozy and comfortable

We booked this as a home base for rest and online work during a 3 night get-a-way between stints of exploring the Brevard, Rosman, Pisgah National Forest area. It was a clean, comfortable, private, cozy lower floor ( with no steps to enter) of a large home. Built into the the side of a mountain, the bedroom, kitchen and den all have a breathtaking view of the beautiful miles and miles of area mountains. There is so much to see and do in this beautiful area of NC. This is my personal 2nd trip to this area in a couple of months and still have things I would like to do there. I recommend this host, the suite, and this beautiful area.

Everything was excellent! I booked to stay a week and decided to stay another week. The suite itself is perfect. It feels brand new, clean, and well cared for. Upon arrival was homemade bread! The view of the mountains never disappointed me. The sunsets were spectacular. The gated community made everything feel safe, even though you never really saw anyone close by. The suite is less than 20 minutes from Brevard's downtown. From here, I was able to travel to the Pisgah Forest in about an hour. Ashville was about 45 minutes away. My son and I drove two hours to the Smokey's and had a wonderful time. If the rating scale was out of 10, I would rate it an 11!!!! The hosts were very accessible and really wonderful to work with. I needed some R&R and this placed delivered. I plan to go back soon.

Lovely

The cottage was just like it appears- scenery gorgeous, quiet peaceful atmosphere, hosts very accommodating, the fresh homemade bread was delicious. I would definitely stay there again!!
