Great stay

Great property close to some fabulous wineries and breweries. Owners had lots of great recommendations and enjoyed meeting the other cabin guests who were all very friendly.

Cabin Retreat

Perfect place to stay after a long day of hiking and winery stops. Prime location for a quick drive to many parks and small towns. Cabin was very clean and had all the amenities you would need. Would stay again.

Overall Nice Place!

I stayed here with my husband and two dogs. It was comfortable and Jim and Cheryl made us feel welcome. Jim even brought over some treats for our dogs! If we are ever in the area, we would stay here again!

Fall Colors

Our trip to Cayuga Lake was wonderful! The newest member of our family, Boats, a chocolate lab loved everything about it. We can't wait to come back.

Great wine week!!

The cabin was fantastic!! It had all we needed, and is located right in the middle of all the wineries we wanted to visit. We cooked, we drank wine, we played Uno - what more could we ask for?

It was clean, comfortable, rustic and yet modern.

We enjoyed relaxing on the porch, sitting by the fire pit, and appreciated all of the amenities the kitchen and seating area offered. We especially enjoyed the wine tour. It was a great location in such a beautiful area.

Great stay

The cabin was easy to access when we arrived. It was clean and well kept. The owners are really nice people who Gave us some great recommendations for food and activities. Close to outdoors activities and Ithaca. Overall great place to stay.

Wine Getaway

This is my third time staying at this property and first time in Cabin B. The cabin is very cozy and the location is within minutes of many wineries. I can't wait to go back.

Excellent spot for a Finger Lakes getaway

The cabin fit its online description to a tee. It was rustic enough so that it felt like a vacation, but with all the amenities to make the stay very comfortable. My only regret was that I could not find the advertised path to the lake.

Great time, great place!

The owners, Cheryl and Jim, were fabulous. There were so many little extras that you just don't usually find in a rental. Extremely clean! Definitely will rent again when we are back in the area.

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin.

Overall impression of the property was very positive. Our cabin was spacious and the kitchen came with all the things you need to cook meals. Having the three cabins together is perfect for family gatherings. The area was very nice. I especially liked the radiant heat floors. I hope to come back another time.

Gorgeous modern log cabin

You must experience this beautiful log cabin located directly along Cayuga's wine trail. The cabin is newly built and contains modern amenities. It was a perfect stay after touring more than 16 wineries along the trail. The owners Cheryl & Jim are wonderful and outdo themselves to make sure you enjoy your stay. They have access to the lake within walking distance. I will be highly recommending their cabins to all my friends and looking forward to returning many times.

Cabin life!

These cabins are perfect for a long weekend stay. They are very clean and comfortable! Everything you would need is there. The owner lives across the street and came over to great us while he was mowing the lawn. He gave us a tour of the property! You will have access to the lake and a large pavilion if you can walk down the many stairs to the lake. The fire pit is huge with lots of chairs. There was lots of wood, paper and matches to get it going.

perfect peaceful retreat

We just returned from a beautiful stay at Cheryl & Jim's cabin & can't wait to go back! The cabin was beautifully appointed and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend in the Finger Lakes. We appreciated that the kitchen was stocked with all of the essential tools/plates/cups so that we were able to utilize the charcoal BBQ and have a relaxing evening at the cabin. Everything was clean & well-maintained. The location was great & we got to hit all of the local spots - Finger Lakes Cider House, Boathouse Brewery, Myer Farm Distillery, and the wineries! - within a 5-10 minute drive.

New beautiful cabin with all the amenities required for a great time.

We had a great time staying in this lovely cabin. This is a newly built cabin that has all the amenities to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The owners live nearby and were there to ensure we had everything we needed. We were there in April and even though it was too cold to fully enjoy the lake there was plenty of other activities to fill our days. There are beautiful parks and trials to walk / hike. We went on a different hike every morning. The Taughannock Falls are just beautiful and only 10 minutes from the cabin. The afternoons were spent visiting the many wineries in the area. As I said, we had a great time and would recommend this place to anyone visiting/vacationing in the area.

The cabins are great!

We overall really enjoyed our stay in Cayuga Lake Cabin "B". These cabins are spectacular! Cheryl and Jim thought of pretty much every detail, and they are lovely, hospitable people. There were only two of us, but it would have been ample for four or even six. Being accustomed to hotels, it was wonderful to have a fully outfitted kitchen during a trip, and it especially came in handy with limited food options in the immediate area. The main room was really comfortable, and the property is super peaceful and whisper quiet -- we never heard a peep from neighbors the entire week. A few notes: If you stay in Cabin "B" over summer, the bedrooms don't have their own air conditioning units, and we were unlucky to have gotten a week with warm and humid nights -- we like it cold for sleeping, so we ended up sleeping in the main room on the fold-out couch. Also, the lake access (across the street from the cabins) is beautiful, but it's a workout to get there even if you're in some shape -- it's down a steep hill with lots and lots of stairs. But we found that neither of those things truly affected our stay. Staying in Cheryl and Jim's cabin was a really nice change of pace!

rustic cabin getaway

Cute rustic cabin tucked away with a bit of property for kids and dog to play. Easy access from main road. Check in/check out was a breeze! Would have liked to have been closer to somewhere with direct lake access - we listened to workers cutting tree limbs down most of the time. Owners were very thorough with amenities provided and great to work with. We did not locate any sheets for the pullout couch - we thought that was included with the linens, but I guess we should have brought some extras with us. We made due. Overall, a great experience for a quick getaway.
