Perfect in every way
This apartment in the Testaccio neighborhood was absolutely perfect. It was clean, comfortable & quiet. It had every amenity I needed. Carlo & Alessandra were wonderful hosts. If you’re looking for a place slightly off the beaten track of the city center, I highly recommend.

Perfect place to stay in Rome
My husband and I loved our time at this property. The hosts are extremely thoughtful and gracious- welcoming us in person, giving helpful tips and information about the neighborhood, Roman culture, where to eat, etc, and even providing gifts including a bottle of wine upon check in. The location is perfect, the apartment is beautiful. They even helped us with our luggage on our way out and saw us off. You really can’t do much better for your stay in Rome. Highly recommend.

Excellent choice
Carlo and Alessandra were so very kind and helpful upon our arrival. Carlo gave us some wonderful recommendations on restaurants in the neighborhood. He gave us the history of the neighborhood with so many historic sights within walking distance. The bus stop is a 2 minute walk away and very convenient. We had a very lovely and comfortable place to come back to after a busy day. The apartment was very clean and the kitchenette gave us the opportunity to bring back leftovers and pastries, bread, deli meat and cheeses. Highly recommended.

Amazing stay!
We absolutely loved our stay in Rome! The apartment was so clean and very easy to get to. The host spent time showing us all of the great places to get dinner, breakfast and any other things we may need while we were there. He was very responsive if we needed anything. I could not recommend this location or host more! If we ever make it back to Rome we would not hesitate to stay here again. It’s such a wonderful neighborhood and so close to everything you want to see. Thank you so much for a great experience!

If you are thinking about booking this apartment for your stay in Rome, it will be one of the best decisions you make for your vacation. Carlo and Allesandra were so helpful and attentive in sharing information about the area. They have a beautiful and affordable apartment that is so close to the city center. The neighborhood is quite charming with wonderful restaurants and pastries within walking distance. The apartment is cool, comfortable, and meticulously set up to meet your every need. A beautiful place to experience the Rome!
From the moment I booked my reservation Carlos was responsive. He was waiting at the gate to welcome us to this beautiful apartment. Once we dropped off our luggage he showed us everything from grocery stores,restaurants, bakery’s for our morning pastries, how to catch buses and the metro. The apartment was perfect!! So clean and decorated beautifully. It had a wonderful shower and bed and plenty of space. We appreciated the water and tea in the fridge and the wine when we arrived. I would 100% stay here again. Testaccio was a wonderful neighborhood. We loved sitting in the square at night and watching the families while we enjoyed gelato. Thank you Carlos for everything and can not wait to come back and visit again🇮🇹🤗

Great Experience
This was our first time in Italy and was nervous about our stay in Rome before our cruise. Carlo & Alessandra knew this and did all they could to make sure our worries where addressed before hand. Carlo met us in front of the property and showed us the best places to eat, where to catch the bus and showed us a little neighborhood community square. My wife and I really enjoyed the neighborhood community square, the locals in the neighborhood would meet, eat, drink coffee and wine and let the little ones play. Carlo took us to our apartment which we where met with a bottle of wine that his wife chose for us. The apartment had A/C, kitchen, bedroom and a bathroom. It was very clean and modern without losing its old Italian feel. GREAT EXPERIENCE!!! Thank You Carlo & Alessandra.

Perfect Rome property
This is the perfect place to stay in Rome. The property is clean and perfectly located for easy access to major sites. Colosseum, Vatican, Forum, and Major Shopping are all within walking distance. Metro and train stations are nearby and give easy access to Italy outside Rome. Carlo is a superb, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful host.

Carlo and Alessandra are the most wonderful hosts you can have and their apartment is a gem in the beating heart of Rome. The flat is impeccably clean and well equipped and the neighborhood is fantastic. Great little bars, cafes, restaurants and shops nearby for any need imaginable and the village square a block away is bustling with nearby families and residents socializing in the late afternoon and early evening. We had an wonderful stay thanks to Carlo’s advice and recommendations and Alessandra’s attention to all details inside. We highly recommend this beautiful place and it’s kind and gracious hosts. We hope to be back again sometime!

Wonderful apartment and wonderful location!
Carlo e Alessandra looked after us so well! We enjoyed staying there very much. We appreciated their care for their guests. The apartment is beautifully laid out and furnished. Excellent attention to the details that make a place special. We were very glad of Carlo’s showing us around the area, and giving us advice on good places to eat. There is lots of great food nearby. We have fallen in love with Testaccio. It is such a lovely area. We enjoyed spending time in Piazza Testaccio, and watching the families and friends gathering, talking, eating and drinking; and the kids playing with water and kicking footballs around. Such a lovely community! Testaccio is now our favourite place in Roma.

A gem in Rome
We loved this property and it’s prime location. Charming , historic neighborhood. The apartment is so accommodating as were Alessandra and Carlo our hosts. Walking distance to the Tiber River, to many wonderful restaurants and public transportation is so close.

We loved our stay ! Carlo and his wife were were there when we arrived (late) and they were wonderful hosts. Carlo gave us great advice in English about transportation and nearby restaurants. The neighborhood was a family oriented area, very safe, away from tourist overload and bustle. We enjoyed walking at night in a nearby park where children were playing and adults were chatting and walking their dogs. The apartment was clean and charming. And Carlo’s wife, a sommelier, left us a tasty bottle of red wine which we enjoyed. The building was architecturally very interesting, and had been in the same family of owners for generations. The only minor down side of this location was its distance from major tourist attractions which we were there to visit. Nearby gelato, pasta and pizza were wonderful as was a great coffee and pastry shop. However, buses, metro and taxi are available and if you don’t mind walking it’s a great way to learn about the city’s great diversity and charm.

Carlo & Alessandra we’re the ultimate hosts! After a terrible experience in Venice, we were sceptical on what to expect, but it far exceeded our expectations! I would highly recommend to friends and family or anyone reading this review. It was clean, cool and smelled amazing. It was a treat to end the day in their apartment after exploring the city. The area is wonderful with local shops and restaurants. It is a quick walk to Trastevere or walk/bus to all the major sites. The fact we received slippers, wine and chocolate was above and beyond! Cheers to hosts, I will definitely come back in the future, if available! Grazie Mille!!!

We loved our visit! The apartment is absolutely beautiful, extremely clean, and provides everything for a very comfortable stay. The location is in a vibrant neighborhood close to wonderful restaurants, markets, and public transportation, and close enough to walk to the main tourist sites. Pleasantly surprised
Carlo met us when we arrived and gave us a brief tour of the area. The apartment was just as shown on the website. We were given a lovely bottle of wine and they also supplied coffee and tea. Location was quiet but close to restaurants and not too far a walk from the colosseum. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this lovely apartment for your stay in Roma.

Great Neighborhood
This place was in a wonderful neighborhood! The owner gave us a walking tour of the area and made restaurant suggestions, which we took his advice each evening. There is an elevator to the upper floors, the apartment was very clean and the beds were comfortable. My husband and I highly recommend staying here!
