"We (two adults, one dog) spent four nights in June '24 and enjoyed all of them. Slept with open windows to the sound of the wind in the trees or the rain on the roof. "Had the good old field of what we always called a "camp." Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and glassware, etc. The lobster processing facility made for a bit of noise and a pretty steady stream of traffic. A lot of trucks, from pickups to semis coming in and out. Didn't really bother us a whole lot but it might bother other people. Overall the view of the water was pretty nice except for the power lines and there's not much that can be done about that. Have to have electricity after all."

"My wife and I stayed there for 2 nights in June and were very happy with the accommodations. Very clean, spacious and comfortable. The whole place looked new or completely renovated. It was very peaceful and the view of the ocean and island was beautiful. Room was tastefully nautically decorated. Close to restaurants, shopping, pubs, etc. Very nice and friendly staff. This was a very stress free and peaceful getaway. We will be going back before fall. "
