Pre-Christmas Getaway
It was beautiful, clean and comfortable. We did have challenges when power went out for 12 hours, but that was due to weather conditions and not because of issues with the rental. We just went to neighboring town to eat and explore and came back to the house when power was restored. We actually had a lot of fun exploring the beach during the high winds - the weather was warm enough to enjoy our time outside, even in the rain. We look forward to doing it again.

Near the beach with easy access and a quiet neighborhood *mostly.
The roof deck was nice for watching waves and sunsets. Nedonna Beach is only residential so it was quiet until Friday night. There are MANY vacation rentals and some folks aren't very thoughtful about how their music and voices carry to neighboring houses. Easy access to the beach and a shirt drive to Tillamook and other areas of interest. Great beach walking and nearby logging roads for biking and hiking.

Spacious home within walking distance to beach
We really loved the open layout of the house. Plenty of space to gather, eat and relax. Overall, the house was clean(could benefit from a good deep clean but who’s going around with white gloves?). We loved that the beach access was so close. We love staying in rockaway, especially in the off season because you might see one or two people on the beach at any given time. The confusing part was gaining entrance…says keys were needed…no keys needed, just the code provided. We would definitely stay again!

Very nice home
Everything was fantastic! Clean, pretty well stocked and a great location near the beach. That being said the Master mattress was very uncomfortable and noisy. Could use a can opener, slotted spoon and plastic wrap and/or foil.

Only a few of us there on a rainy weekend. More house than we needed. Plenty of cookware/ easy solutions for your cooking needs. Plenty of space to lounge around. Beach access within seconds of walking. Good price. If you're not stoked then that's on you.

We loved this house, it was super clean & check in was easy. Lots of space to spread out, there’s an empty lot next door which was perfect for letting the dogs out and a fabulous mudroom downstairs. We had room to park a boat and used the garage to cook all the crab we caught. 3 bathrooms for 3 couples was such a bonus, it was easy to get comfy and not worry about sharing, timing showers, etc. Beach access was a 2 minute walk, the neighbors were friendly, and the street was quiet. Just be aware: a house now sits on the empty lot you see in the pictures, blocking the ocean view. Not a deal breaker but you might be disappointed if you were expecting to see the beach from your window. Overall, a great rental!

Would stay here again
This house has two living areas, which is great if you want some separation of adults and kids! The windows on the beach-side provide lots of natural light. The wrap-around deck was amazing, and the crow's nest allowed us to watch the sunset, and one morning we were up early enough to face the other direction and watch the sunrise over the hillside. Lots of dishes in the kitchen, although the pots and pans could be updated. We couldn't find a pot and lid that fit together. The utensils have seen better days. The coffee pot lid was broken, but we could still hit the cup OK! There are a couple of little places that need repair, but nothing that bothered our stay. The large utility room was a great place to take off our shoes and brush down the dogs. Entry to the beach is basically right across the street. Rockaway is a cute little town with fun things to see and do.

Nice but...
We loved the house but it could and should have been cleaner. We also had trouble getting in. The code we were given for access did not work and we were not able to get in or get in touch with anyone until the housekeeper just happened to come by because she wasn’t finished in the house yet. This was at about 5:30 and check in was at 4:00. I had also emailed prior to our stay with a question (no phone number) and they still have never answered my question...

A Solid 3 Star Home - Somewhat comfortable, but not great
The home is close to the beach access point, just a short walk down the road. The vacant lot across the street is no longer vacant. There’s a new build so that view is gone, and the listing needs to be updated asap. The view from the crow’s nest is nice, but you’d have to be over 6 foot to actually get a good view of the ocean. There are no screen doors on the two large sliding glass doors in the main living area. So if you have a small dog like us, you can’t open the doors. This was a real downside! You need to open the doors to let the breeze in because there is no air conditioning! Many other the other screens were ajar and we could not get them to seal, therefore letting in small bugs. There is only ONE ceiling fan in the entire house with no air conditioning! There really needs to be ceiling fans in each bedroom. They expect you to do dishes without a sponge (we bought one). There is very little decoration, it is quite bland. The dishes were dusty, and some silverware and mugs were actually dirty. We washed every dish and utensil before using. This home needs new pots and pans. The ones in the home are ridiculously old and beat up! The sectional pictured in the listing is different and a lot smaller. The sectional in the living room has to be the most uncomfortable living room furniture we have ever encountered! It’s small and very cheap! There is a ping pong table, but bring your own balls. Most of the balls were cracked or chewed. The downstairs furniture is more comfortable, but smells. For the price of this home, the furniture could have been a lot nicer. Getting into the home was difficult. We were sent the wrong code for he lockbox. When we contacted Vacasa, they asked us to use the same code! It did get straightened out. There is a electronic lock on the back side door, but it’s not utilized…why? This house is equipped with the absolute BARE minimum. Don’t expect any extras or thoughtful touches. We have stayed in many vacation rental homes, and this was by far our most disappointing experience. The one thing that saves this home is location. And we feel they rely heavily on that fact. Would we stay here again…nope, there are better places.
