We arrived late Friday afternoon. After dinner at The Waterman’s Crab House, we had a wonderful evening at the fire pit, sipping adult beverages and telling ever tall tales of our Chesapeake Bay sailing experiences. The next day, we breakfasted at Ford’s in Rock Hall, and enjoyed the “season opener” of the Oxford Bellview Ferry. We went on to the Spring festivals at Oxford, St. Michael’s and later in Chestertown after lunch on Tilghman Island. We finished the day once again at the Waterman’s and then, of course, the fire pit. Sunday, on our way home we stopped for lunch at Chick and Ruth’s in Annapolis. Years earlier we had enjoyed all of these places from the water side on numerous sailboats we had owned and bare-boated over the years. Fun weekend with way more room, and only a little less adventure, than a sailboat.
