"We came down to Tennessee for a family wedding and the house was ready for us when we got here. Wonderful place to stay if you like old style. My 88 year old mother had a bedroom downstairs that she didn’t have to climb stairs to get to, and she loved the front porch and the early morning sun. Owners were quick to respond to any questions that we had. The only things we could suggest for improvements is on site laundry facilities and a stronger Wi-Fi…we had to stay in the living room to connect....

"I enjoyed the summer at this very nice country cottage. The home is very clean and comfortable and had all the amenities needed for my stay. The area is safe and quiet. The farms on either side had cattle that I enjoyed watching and getting to know their habits. I made friends with some of the cows by feeding them carrots and apples every day. The neighbors were awesome and made feel at home, I will miss them. I highly recommend “Walter & Mae’s Farmhouse”. "

"We loved the place! The place is calm, silent and far from the rush. It has almost everything you need to relax and enjoy the nature. Hot tub was great. The only thing that caused a lot of troubles- dishwasher. It did not work properly. We had to stay near it and make sure we press it tight to work. We would definitely return."

"This property was the perfect mountain getaway. About an hours drive from Bristol and Asheville made for easy day trips. The property is absolutely beautiful and we saw a lot of wildlife! All of the furniture was updated and very comfortable and we loved the hot tub and fire pit. We will hopefully be coming back in the future!"
