It’s cheap resort. The worse check in ever, lot of people complaining, have to wait for almost 2h to get my room, nobody help in you, just horrible ! Internet was terrible! Couldn’t get WiFi most of the time. Food was cheap, reservation for dinner at any restaurant was limited, have to wake up at 7am to make it, ridiculous! Gym is super small and poor A/C No A/C at the restaurants, lobby, hot everywhere If you want to safe money, do it, but I wouldn’t come back, I won’t recommend it Prefer pay little bit more and get something decent

I had not been to Decameron since 2016 - the property still looks the same a bit aged. The service and quality of food went down a lot. We have many memories of this place when we used to come every year with our kids. It’s dear to my heart but not sure I would recommend it for a first timer in Rio Hato Panama

Based on our experience today, we'd give it a 9. We don’t give it a 10 because there's a long wait to check in, which is really annoying. We had to wait in line for an hour and a half. The resort should hire more check-in staff. But once we got our keys, everything was great. We'll definitely be back.

Wir hatten All Inclusiv Plus gebucht und haben uns in unserem Zimmer und in der Hotelanlage sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Plus Service enthält separate Poolbereiche, separate Bereiche am Strand und einen "only Adult" Pool mit Poolbar und guter Auswahl an Cocktails. Neben 2 großen Büffetrestaurants (mit identischem Essen) gibt es 7 verschiedene A la Carte Restaurants (Panamesisch, mexikanisch, italienisch, mediterran, asiatisch, Steakhaus und El Canal ein Fischrestaurant) in denen man reservieren kann. Man wählt unter verschiedenen Hauptgerichten diese werden am Tisch serviert. Auch hier ist Wein, Bier, Wasser, Softdrinks etc. im Preis inkludiert. Die Minibar wird täglich neu mit Wasser, Bier und Softdrinks befüllt. Die Zimmer des Plus Services liegen im hinteren Bereich der Anlage und sind deshalb ruhig da weit genug von der Animation entfernt. Die Gäste sind überwiegend aus Mittel- und Südamerika und Kanada, etwas spanisch Kenntnisse helfen bei der Kommunikation mit dem Personal, man gibt sich aber auch Mühe Englisch zu verstehen. Das Hotel ist 4 Sterne Landeskategorie, insofern passte für uns das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis in jedem Fall. Wir würden das Hotel jederzeit wieder mit Plus Service buchen.

This was our first visit to the Grand Decameron. We enjoyed the whole experience. The facility is nice, a bit dated, but still a well designed. I would recommend it to others looking for an all inclusive stay.

We love this beach resort! You always find a place to sit on the beach no matter what time of day. You can walk more than a km in each direction without issue. You feel safe while anywhere on the resort. Food is good everywhere and the staff is super. The beds could be higher quality.

The check in process is not very efficient and some of the personnel are not service oriented. The pools are dirty, the hotel does not have enough towels and the internal logistics are not very efficient when experiencing issues. It is almost impossible to make reservations to the restaurants. The food is OK, but limited in terms of options.

Overall a good resort, we enjoyed our stay and had lots of fun. One of the top resorts I’ve been to, and I have been to many. Pros: - Food was great, even at the buffets. Zero complaints when it comes to variety and taste. - The beach was beautiful. The beach front lined the whole resort. - We were in the All Inclusive Plus section and the room was very spacious and nice with a wonderful view of the ocean. - The resort was well maintained and clean. Cons: - Only 1 swim up bar and it is All Inclusive Plus ONLY. If you’re in regular all inclusive you will not have access to a swim up bar and you are not aloud to bring drinks in the other pools unless it’s a tumbler with a lid. - Hard to find a pool chair and/or chair at the beach, even in the All Inclusive Plus section. Everything was always occupied, especially the limited amount of shade covered seating. Other things to note are, there is very limited English speaking staff (Spanish) AND guests (Spanish and French mostly). This was ok for us, we seemed to find our way and communicate fine with some use of google translate lol. Lots of stairs and walking (big resort), this again was fine for us as well as the exercise was appreciated.

Pior check in ja visto. Chegamos no hotel por voltas das 13 horas. O.check in é somente as 15 horas. Acontece que varios hospedes vao.chegando, e.ficam esperando numa recepcao de apoio ( horrivel por sinal). Quando é perto das 15 horas os hospedes chegam todos juntos na recepcao principal para o.check in. ( ha uma van que pega os hospedes) Assim, uma fila com mais de 40 pessoas se formou, para 3 atendentes fazer o.check in. Literalmente mais de hora a fila do check in demora. O hotel.deveria fazer o.check in conforme os hospedes vao.chegando... ainda que libere o quarto somente as 15. Nao existe ficar mais de hora numa fila de check in. Ridiculo. O quarto era antigo, mas grande e confortavel, somente a cama que estava abaixo da media. Bebidas durante o dia sao boas, atendentes sao rapidos e solicitos. Fomos em 3 restaurantes a la carte para jantar, os 3 muito bom. Somente o vinho servido nos 3.restaurantes que era realmente bem fraco. A praia é boa e a estrutura de praia tambem. O hotel é enorme
