Our first time in Puerto Rico, we picked this rental without really knowing what to expect. The pics of the area and videos made us feel a little worried it wouldn’t be the whole Puerto Rican experience that we’ve heard about in the east side of the country. But looooovvvvveeeeeeed every bit of it and not only the house was exactly what we needed and more. When we arrived in the area we thought our GPS would take it to the house but we got turned around several times. Lost and confused. Not to mention tired from travel and drive. I don’t know why we didn’t think to contact the owners before but we got worried and I called to be welcomed Via phone by John and it was super helpful and he got us to the front gate. We didn’t want to leave and for sure I believe we will be back here soon. 🇵🇷💜

Everything we wanted and More!
Spent 4 nights and 5 days @ Casa Marina! It was everything we could ask for. Beautiful , comfortable and clean. The house was in a great spot where we could walk to restaurants . We loved hanging in the pool at the end of a day. We also loved hanging on the roof with such a beautiful view. The host was quick to respond with any questions. We're already planning our next visit.

THE place to stay in Rincon
The house was even better than the photos (which are pretty great) -- nice pool area with privacy, spacious quarters downstairs with living room, dining room and all you need in the kitchen. Location was convenient to walk to several restaurants and bars, and Steps Beach with amazing snorkeling is a short walk. A/C in bedrooms and in main living area kept us comfortable. Beach chairs and towels were a nice touch. If we return to Rincon we will 100% rent this house again. Start-to-finish maybe the smoothest, most pleasant vacation rental experiences I've had.

Great place, great location!
The location of the property is awesome - literally 3 min. walk to the beach, restaurants, paddle board rentals, etc. The house was great, plenty of space for our two families (4 adults and 5 kids ages 7-14). The view from the third floor deck was lovely and a great place for happy hour. The pool was perfect for our kids and there were some snorkeling masks/pool toys available. Just beware with little ones, the pool deck is painted cement and very slippery. The AC units in the house worked well and the property manager was super helpful when we couldn't find the place (because I inadvertently deleted the email with all the details) and responsive when we needed more towels. Beach towels were fine but bath towels were very thin and small - you might want to bring your own. Overall, great house and great location, would def stay there again!

Wonderful Paradise
Beautiful private pool with amazing lanai when you need a break from the sun or to sit around and play games. Beach was literally right down the road only 2 blocks away. View from the rooftop terrace was amazing. Enjoyed our stay at Casa Marina immensely! Plan to return to Puerto Rico and we NEVER revisit a place usually.

Casa Marina is a beautiful villa, the pool and privacy is a magical place to hang out after a day at the beach. Rincon & the people are a friendly group, don’t miss the Art Walk on Thursday night , beautiful local art & craft !!! Booked 10 days for next year in another villa owned by the same hosts. You’ll love it !!!

Close to the water
We had a very nice experience. The home is in an excellent location, close to the water, a little coffee shop, and within beach walking distance to the main part of town. The pool was clean and cool and had a nice, updated fridge. The foliage around the house created the secluded vibe even though you were on the corner of a busy street. The deck was great for sunsets and winter sunrise over the southern hills. Some negatives are that the couches in the living area barely seemed usable. They are likely from the late 1980's and aren't cleaned regularly or at all. They have a smell about them and aren't comfortable - they should be outside furniture, upstairs on the deck. The beds in the spare rooms could use better bed frames - no hanky panky with those loud metal frames. A few non-slip mats would be nice as the wet floors can cause accidents. Also, bring beach towels or you'll be forced to purchase them. Only white bath towels and beach blanket-things are provided. Overall, this seemed like a decent rental - a little overpriced for the quality of the unit - adequately priced for the location. I recommend new furniture and some basic upgrades, but overall a great experience. The cat is great, too.

Spacious, beautiful and enough room for 4 couples to stay at location. Communication with owner is spot on, he answered all questions quickly and perfectly. The ONLY downside for me would be the lack of mats at entry doors, the tile is very slick make sure you dry off completely and sweep floors often. PERFECT spot for my 50th birthday celebration :) will return soon!!

Great home base for an action packed vacation
The home itself is very safe and structally strong. We were worried about a possible storm but this is a very solid house with a generator (thank goodness we didn't have to use it!). The spilt unit ACs worked beautifully and the master bedroom ceiling fans were heaven. The pool was the perfect temperature and very well maintained. We did replace some missing light bulbs so we could play cards in back yard. Much brighter now 😁. I will say there are very loud cars that blast music at all times of the night which hindered some sleep. Steps Beach is SO CLOSE! Best snorkling we found on the West (Splurge on good snorkles since it is totally free to swim here right on shoreline, no boat needed!) The waters along the coast are a stunning turquoise. Recommend grocery shopping at the CoOp vs Econo due to price. Eat at the Shipwreck for a lovely meal. We also had to buy handsoap for 2 bathrooms. Would recommend placing more washclothes per bathroom. The gate locks were very difficult and would get stuck open, it may be time to replace them. Also, the kitchen came with no condiments, spices, foil, etc. So be prepared to buy it all. There are no cookie sheets or baking pans for the oven and no toaster for bagels/bread (conventional oven dried them to a crisp). Overall just small details and nothing kept us from having a great week!
