15 ACRES !! Peaceful, remote, secluded and quiet!!!!, *** HOT TUB *** Our property is very unique ! 1.2 mile driveway leads to 15 acres WATERFRONT*** There are no visible houses on the opposite shoreline. The opposite shoreline is owned by NC Land Conservation and will never be developed. Unlike most lake properties that are densely populated, our property is all Natural across the lake. The property shares borders with over a thousand acres of undeveloped NC WILDLIFE GAMELANDS !! We own 3/5 waterfront lots. One of the lots is vacant and the other is a part time house for our neighbor. We have not seen our neighbor in almost 5 years. We cut the grass and manage all 4 of the houses on the waterfront. We completed construction of a brand new house December, 2022 where we reside PART-TIME. You can literally Hike, Hunt and fish for days just by walking out the door !! (2) Outdoor hammock (s) , back porch swing, gas grill, state wildlife maintained boat ramps, 24' boat dock / fishing dock, trophy bass fishing, monster catfish, citation crappie, walking distance to wildlife hunting and gamelands. Local sporting goods shop, old timey drive-in theater, Uwharrie National Forest, hiking trails, off-road vehicle trails, golf courses, 30 min. To Lowes Speedway, 30 minutes to Bank of America Stadium, 30 minutes to Concord Mall.

'Just returned from a wonderful time on Tuckertown Lake. Our annual fishing trip took us to Tuckertown where we found great success. Not only was Bryan's house a comfortable haven of relaxation but the lakes seclusion was terrific. Over 5 days we seldom saw anyone on the water outside of a few serious fisherman. We mostly fished largemouth bass but would occasionally work the panfish during the heat of the day. There was easily 70+ bass caught and 50+ panfish. The hammock was great in the evenings and Bryan left the gas grill ready to go which was a welcome means of cooking for the man trip. We all had a wonderful time and capped it off with a tasty Tuckertown fish fry. If you're looking for a comfortable, relaxing, and extremely secluded spot to spend some time on the water give this place a shot! You'll be glad you did.'

Weekend away

We had a wonderful stay at this lakeside retreat. The setting is incredibly peaceful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen had plenty of cookware to prepare meals. We also enjoyed the nearby hiking trails.

Down for a wedding, stayed for a vacation!

What a wonderful, peaceful place! Thank you for sharing your home with us and our family, Bryan and Delia, to enjoy while we were down for a wedding and added time for vacation. The home was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed (especially a/c which was greatly appreciated with the hot humid July weather)! We rented the pontoon boat for 3 days and enjoyed time on the lake, cruising, tubing, fishing and swimming. We brought our floaty-chairs and found a cove to anchor in and float, swim and enjoy some down time/family time. Bryan and Delia are great hosts. Would highly recommend!

Quiet cozy getaway on the lake

We (my parents, spouse, and two dogs) stayed at this property for four nights. We enjoyed how remote the house was to other people. The host did a great job describing the area in the listing. The local town was only about 15 minutes away but at the house we hardly saw others. We spent a lot of time hanging out on the lake, which was nearly deserted even on a holiday weekend. We also rented the host's boat while staying and loved having the option to combine a place to stay with the boat rental. Bryan was nice and helpful in showing us around the boat the day he dropped it off. We hope to stay again in the future!

Great Getaway from Triangle

Amazing Scenery with Comforts of Home

Relaxing Family Adventures at the LAKE!

Our family enjoyed this lake house for a week during our Spring Break. It was wonderful to get away from the noisy beach life of Florida and enjoy the calm environment with it's amazing views sunup to sundown! Our boys fished, enjoyed tubing on the pontoon boat, and letting our lab swim in the water. Brian was an amazing host with attention to detail and quick communication. We hope to return to this place again in the future!

The perfect getaway!

This was hands down a great and wonderful vacation. This property and its owners are truly phenomenal in every aspect and provided us the best family vacation we have ever had. The home and property were perfect and provided an absolute a wonderful experience. We truly felt like we had a private lake at times with a home that was surrounded by woods and wilderness to give that private and secluded atmosphere we were looking for. Our family will without a doubt be returning for another family vacation.

Peaceful and disconnected

We truly enjoyed our stay. Bryan and his wife went out of their way to make sure we had every comfort. I only wish we took more pictures but we used this seclusion to disconnect from our devices, so rarely did we even have a phone for pics. Water temp was in the 80s so fishing was slow but we gave it our all. Everything was clean and just as described. Ive seen posts about the cleanliness of the property and i didnt understand that, my 1 yr old grandbaby crawled from one end to the other of the house and i never gave it a 2nd thought. All of our kids are engaged or soon to be but it was great seeing them sit down with out devices and play card games and reconnect. Thanks again we enjoyed the boat the lake and the seclusion.

This place was amazing. My family have rented many vacation properties this by far has been the best one yet. Bryan and Delia have the house completely stocked with any essential item you may need. Great Secluded Getaway

Great view but horrible internet

Overall the owners were helpful and friendly, the view was amazing, and it was quite secluded. That being said the internet access was horrible unfortunately to the point that I couldn’t do any basic tasks. If you are just looking to get away or don’t need technology for work it’s perfect!

Awesome time!

We rented the home for my daughters graduation and to have family come hang out on the lake. Kids had a BLAST! As did the adults! Beds were comfy and had everything you could need. We rented the boat for a few days and took all the kids and big kids tubing and no one wanted to stop to eat lol Bryan was great communicating with us if we needed anything at all! We enjoyed it so much that we ended up extending twice and it wasn’t booked thru the weekend we would have extended again! We will most def be back!

Peaceful

We really enjoyed the peaceful relaxing stay by the lake. The home has very comfortable beds, a satellite for TV's, DVD movies, cards, and everything we could possibly need for our stay. We rode the pontoon boat that they provided and had an awesome time just riding and fishing off it. We caught about 20 or so very nice size catfish. We grilled out steaks and deep fried catfish one evening. The owners were always there if we needed them and very nice!! We hope to be back again soon!! Thanks Bryan and Delia

Peaceful Retreat

Everything was wonderful. The house was clean and cozy. Equipped with everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. Hot tub was relaxing. The pontoon boat was hours of fun on the lake....which was beautiful and we practically had to ourselves. Bryan and his wife were generous hosts. Good communication. Easy check in and out.. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would absolutely recommend.

Family Fun at the Lake

We had a wonderful time at the lake and the owners were very hospitable. Our dogs were welcomed and it was wonderful having them along. Having the boat available made the vacation that much more enjoyable. We will certainly come back.

Wonderful weekend in NC

We chose this property because of the location being close to Charlotte yet being secluded to enjoy the lake and the wilderness to hike with our dogs. It was perfect in all respects. The property is exactly as advertised and has everything needed to just relax, cook, hike and maybe next time fish. Thank you for providing a great stay to reunite with our family to celebrate our mother's life.

Misrepresentation

WE rented your vacation rental in good faith, expecting all as the website claims it is. This was my BD celebration…. to be spent with mornings on the pontoon dock, at sunrise, enjoying natures magnificence, while fishing and maybe taking a swim during the day. Well, pictures do not always tell the truth, now do they? This is not a house, but a mobile home, the back of which is dirty, and full of cobwebs. We cleaned it !! On the inside, electrical outlets are loose and not connected to the wall, a great safety hazard. The filthy trailer on the right is also not pictured, nor the old deserted home on the left. The hot tub, not recently cleaned, was not on. The stairs to the dock…. Extremely steep, no railing for the worst steep and unsafe steps, are also not mentioned. Now to the dock….AS to our communication… we discovered it full of swarms of mosquitos, by the thousands. We went to Food Lion to buy foggers and sprays only to make them swarm entering our hair and clothing. Randy came by when most had left and sprayed again. The dock was filthy !!! I cleaned it after he left. The next morning I went down early, only to discover they were still swarming over the “Black Mat Algae”. You had to have known about this !!! This toxic Algae infesting the High Rock Lake area… toxic enough to kill a dog. No one is to swim in this area !!! NO Fishing !!! You claim you were there the Tuesday before !!! Why did you not inform us of the unsafe environment for outdoor activities in or at the lake??? This information has been known for some time.!!! WE left yesterday at noon… a day early, thoroughly disgusted at what we had found, my birthday memories ruined Regards Marlu Kimball

Exactly what we were looking for.

If you are looking for a great place to fish and enjoy the lake, this is the place is perfect. It had everything we needed and then some! The kids and husband had an amazing time fishing and us girls enjoyed a night relaxing and hanging in the hot tub. The house was clean and the description of the place was spot on. Kitchen had all the necessities and the house was overall clean and beds were comfortable. It was so quiet and had very little boat traffic on the water which made for great fishing. The kids are already asking when we can go again! Thanks so much for an awesome rental house!
