"Great location and a quaint room."

"Very clean. Loved the shower and the robes. Good breakfast . Front desk staff were fairly terse upon our arrival, but other than that we had a good experience. Wish there was a fitness center. "

"The small square within 1 to 2 blocks around the hotel was quaint and beautiful. The staff was exceptional and welcoming. Room was very clean and overal a wonderful experience. The hotel restaurant for dinner was delicious and included breakfast was also scrumptious with pastries being the star. However escaping the gem like area the surrounding neighborhood lacks in the bucolic and historic feel."

"Everything was excellent - service was helpful but non-invasive, property was beautiful, food at restaurant was extremely good by two picky NYers standards - my only issue was the cabins were not very well soundproofed. If you were traveling with friends or family, probably not an issue, but on a couples trip to be able to hear the entire couple next door’s conversation, TV viewing choices, etc etc felt a lil “not the point” of the rustic, isolated cabin. For the price point, they should have...

"Pro's: clean. great views bright with windows. it was close to plenty of hiking and cross-country skiing. Cons: the room we were in - needed a new mattress a decade ago. I see they are updating the rooms with sound proofing etc. but the bedding should be a priority. I would have asked to have the room switched if I laid on it earlier when we checked in. "
