Reykjavik Beach Hotel

"Great place downtown….small boutique Hotel please note Iceland costs are double US and Canada. yes$2.50 coke costs $6us in Krons Hotels downtown do not have parking. Have to find public lot. also Icel breakfast disappointing $28 and mot much. "

"Wonderful hotel - we stayed in the main building in a 1 bedroom apt. Clean and well cared for. Close to center of Reykjavík everything. Very homey with breakfast. Will stay here again next time!"

"The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. One suggestion is to take advantage of Hotels.com's breakfast offer if it's included as part of the stay. Prices in Iceland are very high, and breakfast on our own at the hotel was $30 a person. Breakfast was a typical hotel buffet."

"Can not speak more highly about this location! This place has my money when I return to Reykjavik. The staff was both accommodating and pleasant to interact with. Our room was equally as pleasant. This trip I actually experienced a moment where I lost my wallet in the street. After looking every where in the street, I eventually had to go on with my trip with no wallet. After sometime once I had returned home from my trip, I received an email from the hotel stating that my wallet had been dropped off at the hotel and that they were willing to ship it to me. My wallet is now on it's way back to me thanks to great citizens and an awesome hotel. "

"Very nice hotel with great breakfast buffet. Bathroom was spacious with large tub & separate shower. Only complaint is pillows are too soft & have no support. All staff were very friendly & helpful when needed. "

"We loved the King Deluxe Room with the Balcony. (Although a shared balcony). The bed was very cozy, the bathroom was clean and the shower was great! The view from the balcony was very nice. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful! Would definitely stay here again. Conveniently located so we walked everywhere in the city. The only thing I can think of that might need attention are the benches outside on the balcony were a bit weathered. But it didn’t really phase me. Highly recommend Alda Hotel! "

"The room was really lovely. Great view, great location. Lovely breakfast that is well worth paying for, you won't get better any cheaper in Reykjavik. Had one evening meal there which was fantastic. Service is great, location is good. Interesting harbour location away from the centre but in East walking distance of everything you want to see"
