Big Mountain Cabins is centrally located in the Black Hills, just a few miles from Keystone. We are minutes from many of the Black Hills main attraction, like Mount Rushmore, Bear Country, Custer State Park, Reptile Gardens, 1880 Train, and Crazy Horse. Hike Boulder Hill Trail, Storm Mountain Trail, Flume Trail, and the Strato Bowl. Enjoy a day at the lake like Sheridan, and Pactola. If you are looking to stay in a cabin just a short drive to all the attractions. Then Big Mountain Cabins is where you want to stay!

Cabin #3 offers a kitchen stocked with dinner ware, pot and pan, utensils, toaster, coffee maker, and outdoor grill. Rest on a king size ultra-luxury hybrid plush mattress on the main floor, and two queen size ultra-luxury hybrid plush mattresses in the loft. This cabin also has a fully furnished bathroom with a full tub and shower, towels and linens are provided.

For all you hiking enthusiasts, this cabin is close to many national forest trails including Boulder Hill Mountain Trail. This trail head is 2.2 miles from Cabin #3. And for all you mountain bike enthusiasts, this cabin is 2 miles from Storm Mountain Trail. Storm Mountain trail offers 11.61 miles of pure fun!

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
- Our cabins are on a hillside and there is only enough parking for one vehicle. If you have a extra vehicle, trailer, or motorcycle please message us before you make your reservation.
- If you are riding on a motorcycle, we ask that you be an experienced rider. The road to the cabins are loose gravel with three switchbacks. If you have any questions please message us.

Vacationing and viewing the sights
The accommodations were great, everything was there that we needed and everything from checking through departure went smoothly. The log home atmosphere fits perfectly with the area and the site allows you to feel like you are living the experience of the environment. I would definitely recommend it to others.

Great Family Spot for a Black Hills Adventure
We loved this cabin in the hills as our home base for exploring the Black Hills and all the sites in the area! The loft was a great spot for our kids to have a space of their own. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Our hosts checked on a us and had great communication before and during our stay.

This was the perfect home base for our adventures in Custer and Rapid City! Beautifully crafted log cabin. Super clean and fresh, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen and bathroom. Plenty of room for 6, so the 4 of us spread out. Our two teen boys loved having the loft to themselves!

Everything felt clean and new. It was a great location that allowed us to see all the major sites in the beautiful Black Hills area. Beds were SO comfortable! Jen let us check in early once our room was ready and was responsive to questions. Our only minor “complaint” was we wish the stovetop was a little larger and a maybe a few more pans. We loved having the outdoor grill and it worked well. Overall, highly recommend. We loved our stay!!!

A must stay.
This cabin was perfect (and adorable and clean) for our family of four and was centrally located which allowed us to enjoy all the activities that we had planned to do while in the Black Hills. This cabin was cozy and so comfortable. The beds and linens were amazing. Great sleep with windows open and the cool breeze. Kitchen nice and big for our coffee and breakfast. We ate dinners out. Powder House in Keystone and The 1885 Steakhouse & Saloon in Hill City had delicious steaks and salmon. Turtle Town had yummy chocolates! All attractions were close by. Jenn answered all my questions quickly.

We enjoyed the location of the cabin, most of our things to do were near by. The design of the cabin made it feel very spacious, it was exactly like the pictures. The wifi worked perfectly, no problems and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was tiny, but it worked for us! I would stay here again.
