Amazing Cabin

Beautiful cabin, well built, beautiful craftsmanship. Well maintained, immaculately clean, great location. Owners of property very kind, great communication. Highly recommend staying here!!!!! So glad we found this place to stay!!!

We stayed in a cabin for 3 nights on our way to Colorado. We loved the beds and how clean everything was. The towels were so soft and plush. It was so convenient to get to all of the things we wanted to do! The host was very friendly and we would definitely stay again if in the area.

This was our second time staying here. The cabin is beautiful inside and out, with comfortable beds and all the amenities you would ever need. Jenn has been a great host, and communicating with her was super easy.

Mountain Peacefulness

We truly loved our stay at Big Mountain Cabins. Our communication with Jenn was so easy & quick. The cabin was exactly the way the pictures portrayed. The cabin had an awesome view from the front porch. We loved the pine logs on the ceiling. The only thing I would recommend is shelving above the coffee pot for the guest's spices & oil. We hope to visit again, in the future.

Great Family Spot for a Black Hills Adventure

We loved this cabin in the hills as our home base for exploring the Black Hills and all the sites in the area! The loft was a great spot for our kids to have a space of their own. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Our hosts checked on a us and had great communication before and during our stay.

What a pleasure it was to stay in this Cabin. It was clean and in a great location, close to all the attractions. It was so nice we requested an additional night again - super easy. I highly recommend this location for anyone looking in the area.

Vacationing and viewing the sights

The accommodations were great, everything was there that we needed and everything from checking through departure went smoothly. The log home atmosphere fits perfectly with the area and the site allows you to feel like you are living the experience of the environment. I would definitely recommend it to others.

Fantastic property

We had a wonderful time at this charming cabin. Everything was clean, new, functional, and cisually appealing. The beds were great! The best beds we've ever had in a hitel or short-term rental. Peaceful location, and the kids loved the little playground. We would love to come back again.

A must stay.

This cabin was perfect (and adorable and clean) for our family of four and was centrally located which allowed us to enjoy all the activities that we had planned to do while in the Black Hills. The hosts also were very good at making sure that we had everything that we needed. We will definitely stay here during our next trip to the Blackhills. Thanks Jude and Jen for the hospitality.

We loved everything about our stay at Big Mountain Cabins. Near to all attractions. The comfort and quietness of home in the mountains compete with all the amenities.. So nice to have a relaxed breakfast and a few evening meals on the grill. A thousand time better than going back to a cooped up hotel room at the end of a touring day. the owners are on the property and quickly responded to a few questions we had about the area.

Wonderful cabin! Great location, scenic views, and comfortable beds!!

Everything felt clean and new. It was a great location that allowed us to see all the major sites in the beautiful Black Hills area. Beds were SO comfortable! Jen let us check in early once our room was ready and was responsive to questions. Our only minor “complaint” was we wish the stovetop was a little larger and a maybe a few more pans. We loved having the outdoor grill and it worked well. Overall, highly recommend. We loved our stay!!!

Cozy Cabin

This cabin was cozy and so comfortable. The beds and linens were amazing. Great sleep with windows open and the cool breeze. Kitchen nice and big for our coffee and breakfast. We ate dinners out. Powder House in Keystone and The 1885 Steakhouse & Saloon in Hill City had delicious steaks and salmon. Turtle Town had yummy chocolates! All attractions were close by. Jenn answered all my questions quickly.

Trip with Grandkids

This was the nicest vrbo we have ever stayed at. Not only was the cabin immaculate but the owner was easy to communicate with and helpful. The place was just out of the rush of Rapid City, but close to all the major sights. We hope to be back again.
