Create yourself a fuss-free holiday close to the mountains at Raetihi Cottage!

This Raetihi holiday home includes cosy and comfortable living, with a closed fireplace for toasty winter retreats. Furnished to offers all the comforts of home, with peaceful rural surrounds to compliment your stay. Bedrooms 1 and 3 at this Raetihi accommodation each have a single bed and double bunk, while bedroom 2 includes a queen bed.

Enjoy this great location as Raetihi is just a 10min drive to Ohakune but has a more relaxed atmosphere. Raetihi has its own cafes, superette and the Cossie Club is open to the public for great value meals. Take your bike out for some mountain biking or cycling through fantastic scenery. Handy to Tongariro and Whanganui National Parks, this property is well located for skiing or snowboarding, tramping, fishing or to just escape.

As the internal stairs has a handrail and no horizontal balustrades to prevent potential falls, it is important that all guests take extra care and adults should always supervise young children when accessing this area.Please note a bond may be charged at certain times of the year. Beautiful location, cosy home
We had a lovely stay here. It was spacious and warm, and really enjoyed the fireplace and great kitchen facilities. There were a few glitches with the hot water but the agent was quick to resolve this for us. Thank you!

Family holiday
Our family group of 6 had a comfortable stay. There is plenty of room for large groups, shower was amazing and the house was nice and warm. The location is a little outside of Raetihi and next to an old cemetery which didn’t bother us. The house seems to have been recently refurbished so the kitchen and bathrooms were clean and nice to use. We Had some issues with check in. My brother was trying to text the manager from an international phone and she wasn’t able to respond so be aware that if you are using an international number, you will need to call. Some things to be aware of: there is no TV (just a very old TV set for playing dvds on) and there are internet usage charges if you go over the cap. Neither of these things bothered us and overall we had a very pleasant stay.
