"We loved our stay there . Very clean, very quiet, gorgeous view from our room/balcony and the dining area wonderful staff; we enjoyed the jacuzzi on the balcony in the evening in the middle of the rain forest. Several monkeys visited our balcony in the morning, and I took some great videos of them. I also saw them jump from tree to tree right outside our room. Exhilarating! Wish we could have stayed longer; can’t say anything about dinner as we arrived too late for us to eat, although the restaurant was still open. Great place! Warmly recommend."

"My wife and I started and ended our honeymoon here Our first stay was in room #3. Very comfortable bed and nice room. Our second stay was in room #11. Very UNcomfortable bed, but still a nice room. If we go to Costa Rica again, we would not hesitate to stay here again, with the hope of having a comfortable bed!"

"The La Mariposa Hotel was amazing. The staff was friendly, the food was delicious, and the view was fantastic. We were told we would only have a partial ocean view and were very pleased that we had a beautiful view. The cleaning staff did an excellent job and was very thorough."
