Independent Punta Arenas hotels

"This hotel was good. Located right in town, front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable. The only issue I had was with kitchen staff. I’m vegetarian and asked for a packed lunch to be made for me to take on one of my tours. They assured me I would get a cheese sandwich and even showed me the ticket where they wrote “cheese sandwich, no ham” on it for the kitchen staff. Lo and behold the next day when I got my lunch, there was ham in the sandwich and I couldn’t eat it. "

"The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly. We were fortunate to be in Tower 2 with a wonderful view of the sea. The room was spacious and newly updated with individually controlled thermostats. We later found out that the rooms in Tower 1 still needed to be updated and there was no air conditioning! So ask for Tower 2! Breakfast was included and had a wide variety to choose from!"

The space was good for our family of 3 adults and my son liked his bedroom with a nice bed and a writing desk. They are proud owners of this renovated property in the 1880s hi E and the new units in the back. Both are hard working and responsive making your stay comfortable. "If you are looking for a simple inexpensive property conveniently located within puntas arenas it’s great. The manager was fantastic. I needed only a bed and they were perfectly accommodating. The walls are thin as this is a large converted house, but if you’re just looking for a quick breakfast and a warm bed you can’t beat this price. "

"The staff was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast starts at 8am and we had to leave earlier on both days of our stay. They prepared us breakfast bags. The bed was comfortable. The floor felt a bit dirty. The room was very quiet, overlooking the interior courtyard."
