"The place was very clean and nice, and easy to check in. The problem is that you cannot run the heat and the coffee maker at the same time. I could certainly have worked around this inconvenience, if I had known about it. There was no sign on the counter, only a note about it on the 4th page of the house manual - past the page about a local gym. When I got to the page I did not read further. I got up at 3:00 am, took a shower, and turned on the coffee pot and blew the breaker to the entire place. I texted, but got no response. By 6:00 am it was cold and dark - so with wet hair I left to find some place to get ready for work. I was very disappointed that I was not made aware of this situation. "

"There is the historic part of the hotel and the modern. We accidentally booked the historic side with no elevator and very small rooms. They were very accommodating and switched us to the modern side with elevators. They have a van that will also take you anywhere you wanna go in town."

"Hotel Edgewater was a great place to stay right across from Resurrection Bay. We had a room with a view of the bay. We were able to walk across the street one night to watch the Aurora over the bay and mountains. The manager and employees were super nice and helpful. I highly recommend Hotel Edgewater!!"

"You do have to wrestle your suitcase up quite a few outside steps but there is plenty of room. It is worth the view from the dining area where a delightful breakfast was served. It is a cute, quaint place full of character. The hostesses was delightful. She was friendly and fun to visit."
