Family wedding weekend
A wonderful, well appointed home. We had everything we needed as we gathered for a family wedding. Six adults and three children fit seamlessly into this charming space. We have never stayed in a vrbo that provided supplies with such attention to detail. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect spit for us
Four bedrooms and 5 beds, plus a fold out sofa gives plenty of privacy and space for girls weekend! Bathrooms upstairs and down is a must when we rent, so that was great. One of the cleanest and most tastefully decorated places I've rented.

Great Family Time in Prairie du Chien!
We just loved this home! It has such a nice blend of original hardwood floors, amazing wide trim and floor board as well as an updated kitchen with full amenities. John, the owner and host, provided everything we needed and beyond. Plenty of pots and pans, baking dishes, spices, utensils, coffee maker as well as coffee, filters. You really don't need to bring anything other than your clothes, and personal items. The home was very clean, there was a cozy front porch perfect for morning coffee, reading, or even doing some remote work. Internet was fast. We had no problems with multiple devices. Beds were very comfortable. We were in a nice part of town, and had no problems walking in the evening. There was a small inlet that was about 2 or 3 blocks away where one could rent bikes, or kayaking. John replied quickly when we had a few questions. We highly recommend this home, and hope to be able to stay again in the future. Side note, some nice places to go: Jones Black Angus, The Barn, Pikes Peak, Lansing, up the River Road for possible eagle sightings.

Sibling reunion
Very clean and nice accomodations. Quiet neighborhood. Nice to find 4 bedrooms at a fair price with a dining room table big enough to accomodate all of us. Nicely stocked kitchen. Only suggestion might be to have an extra hand rail section at the top of the stairwell to aid us "seniors".

Just what we were looking for!!!
The house was just right for our 4-sister getaway. It was a delightful step back in time as it reminded us of an old country farmhouse from our youth, yet had been decorated and updated to be very comfortable and enjoyable for our 3-day stay. Good attention to everything needed for guests and yet gave us plenty of room for our own supplies/luggage. We enjoyed the neighborhood for a walk and the closeness to shopping and restaurants and also Pike's Peak State Park. Loved it and will stay here again if we choose this area for our next get together!!!

90th birthday party / reunion
A perfect spot for my wife and I to meet up with our children for her father’s 90th birthday party. One of most well stocked vacation rentals we have ever stayed in and a super convenient location close to the water and downtown Prairie. Bookmarked for next time!

We recently stayed at the Becwar house while in town for a wedding/family reunion. The house was excellent! Very clean, comfortable and great location. The host was great and very accommodating to a last minute change. We will definitely be returning!

House was perfect. Great updates to entire home. Creaky stairs and doors reminded us of our childhood home, in a good way. Beds were comfy. Plenty of room for all of us.

We really enjoyed the house and especially the fact that the sheets and towels were cotton and not microfiber. Even though it is an older home the air conditioning was excellent and reached the upstairs bedroom. We were grateful for the coffee and other groceries on hand since we arrived pretty late on Friday night. Thank you

Adorable and comfortable
We took a few days' vacation to the Driftless area. We have six children and needed a house conveniently located with plenty of space to relax after a day of being out and about. This house is nicely updated while still retaining the charm of an older house. The mattresses were comfortable. The space fit us well. Across the street, the Roman Catholic church has a basketball court in the parking lot. We enjoyed that in the evenings and the tennis courts that the town has further south in the town. I would be happy to stay here again!
