Potters Bar Family Hotel

"We loved our second stay at Marlin - this time around we even explored more of the SouthBank and loved the local neighbourhood (Hercules' fish&chips and sticky toffee pudding omg). We found it safe, accessible to the Tube and LHR, we walked SO many neighbourhoods in London from there - we just loved it in its entirety and found the price 'affordable' for a city like London. We are already planning a return!"

Lovely facilities, the spa and swimming pool was clean and well maintained and rooms in very good condition. Good selection at breakfast and room service very helpful. Well recommended. "The Filipino gentleman at the concierge desk turned us on to some 'hidden gem' restaurants merely blocks away! He, in particular, really helped make our stay outstanding. The hotel was great; sorta like a US style but smaller Marriot. The location was safe and clean. A Whole Foods down the block was convenient as well. If you get off the beaten path you'll find London food at its best. However, other than the park and Royal Albert hall, you'll have to travel a bit to get to the sites on the river. That said, the hop-on-hop-off buses stop right there."

"For a traveler based in LONDON i think you'd be hard pressed to beat this location. The hotel has a back door which enters right into Victoria train station and the Victoria tube is across from the station. The hotel is about two/three blocks in distance from the plays Wicked and Hamilton. It's less than a miles walk from the 'changing of the guard' at Buckingham. The hop-on-off-bus stop is in front of the hotel. Their are decent and quick eateries everywhere. The only negative would be the tub/shower. The tub is simply too narrow to comfortably stand and shower. So the safe bet is a bath."

"The hotel was continently located near the Tower of London. Easy to walk to nearby attractions, and also to catch the tube, buses. Or Uber boat. Room was clean, water and tea replenished daily. The staff were amazing!!! They were so helpful and arranged transportation for me several times when I was concerned about being late to our reservations. Top tier experience!"
