A wonderful stay in Porto
We had a great family vacation at Burgos's house. The host was super friendly and accommodating and ensured we had everything we needed for a great stay. It was clean, large and comfortable. It was also a great location for exploring around.

Cute and historic, but…
Perfectly nice neighborhood, staff was great, kind, and thoughtful. We had to leave early however due to it being just shy of 100 degrees Fahrenheit in the house when we arrived (but about 85-90 outside), no air conditioning, and when opening windows (no screens) to get airflow it caused us to be eaten alive by mosquitos. Also since the windows were open the seagulls calling all night kept a us awake. Since it was our last few days in Portugal coming from the United States, we wanted to make sure we could get rest and truly enjoy those days, and nothing was the owner’s fault necessarily, so we just ate the cost and moved on. When the owners heard we were leaving they came right over to see if they could resolve the issue, which was considerate, but the first response from the daughter was “this is Porto, there are seagulls and mosquitos, nothing we can do about that”. We understood that, which is why we didn’t complain (though I think a little empathy on the owner’s daughter’s part would have been a better approach initially), however the culmination of things caused us to change our plans so we could enjoy the last few days of our trip.

Our hosts were wonderful and attentive. Their home is a short ride from the airport and from downtown Porto, we had decided we wanted to stay a bit out of town and this was perfect. It’s got an “older generation” feel and decor, abd is comfortable and clean. I do wish there were screens on the windows or doors so windows could have been left open at night and that there were fans in the bedrooms. All appliances worked well, grocery store right around the corner. A great stay.

Grande maison dans un cartier tranquille. Cuisine complète et le tout très propre. Notre hôte nous a tous expliquer a notre arrivée et en français. Il y a une épicerie a 3 minutes de marche. Nous y étions 5 adultes sans aucun problème.Je le recommande sans hésiter.

Très bon séjour
Une très bonne surprise pour cette maison. Un propriétaire très a l’écoute, disponible, parle un très bon francais (!!), courtois. Il nous a bien guidé sur les points a voir/faire a Porto. La maison est spatieuse, plus rustique que moderne mais fonctionnelle. Attention cependant si vous sejournez par temps froid (hiver) car que des radiateurs electriques d’appoint. Maison facile d’accès et bien située. Parfait pour un sejour au calme en famille. Merci pour l’accueil parfait.
