The one downside to checking in was the timing was quite late at 5pm. however as it’s was only one night, and the complex is huge, I tried to walk to reception twice in the space of 90 minutes upon checking into my room and became completely lost. As a solo traveller, being right at the top of the hill in the back end of nowhere, I didn’t feel the safest throughout the night. However, the location is quite isolated if you have no car. The nearest mini-market is a 20 minute walk and there are limited bars or restaurants within walking distance although there is a restaurant and a small bar on site. Lagos old town is a 45 minute walk, so a taxi is needed. "
