"Amazing location and coziest wooden cabin. The cast iron stove kept us toasty and warm. Markus and Burgi were great hosts! We did a improvised winter canoe trip and got to see a family of otters! In a nutshell: it was all and more we wanted for a getaway weekend."

"What neat place, lots of trails beauitful sandy beach and direct access to the lake. community firepit and a really wonderfully landscaped area. so many attractions to check out close by and great pizza at the general store. Golfing was a nice afternoon out and it was all around a perfect getaway!"

"Liz is a wonderful host, very consistent in communication. The vrbo property is a bit out of cellular range, and the cottage doesn’t have wifi so very good to truly disconnect from the electronic world. We caught fish everyday, enjoyed some bbq and were able to enjoy our long weekend away thoroughly. The neighbours both have dogs, and the one dog was friendly enough to come over and say hello to our pup! Just a heads up if you have a dog who isn’t good with other dogs to be aware that you may...

"We had a wonderful, relaxing week! The cabins were clean and cozy with a beautiful view of the lake. The location was perfect for exploring the many different lakes in the area. Our hosts were genuinely caring and helpful, checking in to see how we were doing and providing many household essentials including toilet paper, bed sheets, and propane. As a modest cabin, the bedrooms were smaller, and the Wi-Fi limited, but these were minor in an otherwise delightful stay!"
