Great location

With only a few, small inconveniences when we got there, it turned into a great week. Location was perfect and we enjoyed the pool almost every day!

Perfect home with everything you need!

Our family loved this home! It was very clean and spacious. If you are staying here, there is no need to bring any kitchen supplies as the house has everything you could possibly need. We will definitely be booking this house again when we go to Florida!

This house was roomy and comfortable for 6 of us. We had one small maintenance issue, which was rectified very quickly after I texted the contact number. I’d definitely stay here again!

Port Charlotte Trip

The house was very well stocked with the thing a traveler needs for a short stay or long term stay. House was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The only thing I like and it wasn't there is a TV in the bedroom. I also didn't like that they didn't have cable TV, so I could at least watch local the news and weather. Everything were streaming channels, so if you don't have Netflix or prime or some other app there wasn't much to view.

The woodwork was dirty, broken door in bedroom, stool didn’t flush good, clothes were left in drawers from previous renters, fans were dirty inside & outside, Couldn’t get TV to work, We were told the pool would be heated. But the house was very roomy, the furniture was nice and the kitchen was very well stocked with dishes

Property was decent. Vacasa's property management service was horrible. They didn't do anything but reply to texts. No one ever showed up to help with our issues.

Great house, but unheated pool

This was a beautiful home in Port Charlotte. It was generally clean, and they supplied ant traps. The downside was the pool is unheated so it was too cold that we ended up at our friend’s rental most of the time in the heated pool. They had lots of kitchen supplies, but only some plastic plates and nothing that was toddler or kid friendly. So bring your own. Also if you are a hot sleeper, the AC has to stay at 73.

Nice place

The house is very nice and mostly as advertised. The bed in the 2nd bedroom is a full size not a queen. Shower in master bathroom needs cleaned better it has mold on the grout. Wish they had regular cable and not just streaming had issues with the internet buffering and freezing while trying to watch. Plus not receiving the local networks or regular cable channels is irritating. Didn’t let it ruin the trip though.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was overall clean and kept up. We had a problem with a fish smell in the refrigerator and I suppose the cleaners thought they had cleaned thoroughly, but it was persistent until we took all the drawers out and cleaner a spill in the bottom of the refridge. The company was very responsive to our problem with the pool heater and followed up to make sure it was taken care of. It was a lovely, comfortable home and we were able to enjoy the lanai and pool even thought the weather wasn't all that cooperative.

Florida expedition

In general we loved the property, it's a good size and it was very clean. The neighborhood is very pleasant as well. We loved that the house has bicycles in the garage for the guests to use! The only thing I didn't like was the fact that there was no flexibility on the check in or check out times. I think that would it have made the trip even better. I would also suggest to the owner to be more specific in regards to what's in the house, for example, I asked if the house came with a Keurig coffee machine and they said no but they do have one. Also, there was no hand or shower soap anywhere in the house. They did shipped a couple of bottles of shower gel the next evening, so not a big deal.

Needs a deep clean

It was very obvious that the owners of this property have not visited in a while. It desperately needs a deep cleaning. Ex baseboards, corners, behind furniture, steam clean furniture, edges of beds, and pool deck! Pool deck flooded when it rained due to too much debris in the drainage areas. Front landscaping hadn’t been touched in a LONG time. Front lights didn’t work, so had to use a phone flash light to unlock the door when coming home after dark. And to top it off, we arrived late and there was not even a coffee pod for a cup of coffee in the morning. Absolutely no personal touches.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A lot of annoying issues that made us feel we weren't on vacation. Pool would not prime so the first morning in "glugged" until it was serviced. Refrigerator shelf fell on the floor when the door was opened. TV did not receive programming. Had to switch to my own Firestick to get reception. Nice enough house-Positives. Good mattresses, slept well. Negative- blinds old and missing parts. Left gaping views into bedrooms Plus: Nice furniture, Relaxing views. Negative-old appliances. No cutting board-seems silly unless you like shopping on vacation,. Did have a Keurig-nice.

Well Kept Property

Lovely house

The house was what it was advertised as. I recommend that the shrubbery along the pathway from the driveway to the front door be trimmed back at least by 1 foot. The path is very awkward to walk along right now.

Steer Clear of VRBO and Turnkey

Both VRBO and Turnkey are largely offshore marketing machines, load on extra fees and are terrible at customer service. Regardless of the property and its attributes, if you have any issues you will have a time taking care of them. We rented a cute house, VRBO added their fee on top of Turnkey's. Your ultimate price will be much more than the price stated. When we checked in, the water was off in the house and the area was under a boil water order for days. We asked for an adjustment and Turnkey agreed to credit us $195, instead they added a charge of $195 so then we had many calls to get the extra charge reversed and are still pending on the credit. Much of this is over their texting number with someone in another country and sometimes you get a person in the US. Hours on calls takes a toll on your getaway. That said we did get a call from a real person local to the property who was very nice. Get a local firm with real people and cut out these layers of red tape and extra fees.

Only fault was billard table bumper rails were broken and in need of replacement and felt needs re stretched. We are APA team players and we're very disappointed in the condition of the table. But over all we would return to stay and play on the table again. Great place.

Fabulous home

Fabulous home in a peaceful community. Great accommodations and attention to detail everywhere. We stayed at this property for 4 weeks, and it was a perfect size for me, my wife and 2 children. The private pool was perfect to hop in whenever we wanted. The kitchen had everything we needed and was very clean, as was the entire place. Supermarkets (Publix and Winn-Dixie) are just a 5 min drive which was very convenient. Overall it felt like home away from home, I would definitely recommend this place.
