"Loved being on the small lake. Was fun to have a paddle boat and floating raft. Our grandkids begged to be on the dock fishing constantly. The 3-1/2 year old was casting and pulling in sunfish right and left! The long driveway and dirt road was great for taking walks!!"

"This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. The last time was about 2 years ago. The owners added a better summer heating & cooling unit. Normally you would think we would have needed the air conditioning, but needed the heat instead. Really enjoyed our stay and will come here again."

"Our family of 6 enjoyed our stay here. The kids loved sitting around the bonfire and making s’mores. Our puppy loved running around inside the fenced area and joining us on our family trip. The location of this home was convenient for visiting Itasca State Park. The only thing we found disappointing was that the dock was already pulled in. Our boys were looking forward to being able to fish off the dock. The owners were very communicative and shared with us a location near by for fishing....

"Comfortable and picturesque - especially the little dock on the creek. Abundant wildlife. Kind of cold when we were there. Having a boat and kayaks to tour the lake was a bonus. "

"We absolutely love staying at 928 West Lake Drive, DL! Great house and beach. Very conveniently located by several eating/drinking/ice cream establishments. Clean and comfortable. Debbie, the manager is very friendly and helpful. We hope to stay here again! The troll hunting was a bonus this year! "

"We were in town for a family reunion on Fish Hook Lake, so the location was great! HWY 71 was a little loud in the evening as we were trying to get to bed with the windows open, but we managed. The owner had a great communication and was accommodating to our schedule. Very clean and everything we needed was there!"

"1. The House is clean and so beautiful. 2. Lots of extra bedding, towels, beach towels, spices, garbage bags, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, tissues, toilet paper. 3. Pontoon Rick is great and very helpful. 4. So many amenities on the property: 5 TVs, popcorn popper, outside water toys, marshmallow/hot dog sticks, gym, extra refrigerator/freezer in the garage ( we really appreciated this feature), weber grill/black-stone grill and grilling utensils 5. Dock is great along with the hot tub, paddle...

"There was plenty of room for our 4 family groups. The teens had fun learning to play pool. Spent time on the dock fishing and 2 nights having a bon fire. Close enough to hit the beach in Detroit Lakes. The kids stayed up late to watch movies and we did not hear a thing from our bedrooms. Good vacation."
