Idyllic country retreat
We had a really lovely family holiday in these comfortable cottages. Set in the most beautiful location, tucked away in the countryside but within easy reach of local towns and historic sites. The hosts were absolutely lovely and made us feel so welcome.

Very relaxing
We enjoyed our stay a lot and would recommend. The property offered everything we needed. Very peaceful and tranquil location but only 10 minutes from decent shops and restaurants. The kids particularly loved the pool and it was always a nice temperature. Plenty of space in the fields to stretch their legs. We enjoyed getting out on occasion and exploring the local markets, lake and a 50 minute drive to the beach.

Lovely accommodation and people
We had a lovely stay at Gites de Kerlividic. At all times we could ask John and Isabelle for tips of what to do in the area and they were available to help at all times. We were allowed to install a temporary volleyball net in the backyard and bring extra people. Thank you John and Isabelle!

Lovely Gites, welcoming hosts
We had a lovely 11 day stay and John and Isabelle were friendly, welcoming and helpful. They told us of places to visit and places to eat and many interesting facts about the local area and Brittany. They also showed us the local Bastille Day celebrations where we watched traditional Bretagne dancing and music and we even got to join in! The gites were well equipped, clean and the garden was lovely to sit and enjoy a drink of wine. The kids absolutely loved the swimming pool.

Très belle propriété
Un week-end bien agréable passé entre amis dans les 3 gîtes. On a beaucoup apprécié la grande propriété pour sa tranquillité. Rien ne manque pour occuper petits et grands .... L'intérieur des gîtes est PROPRE, bien équipé. Bonne literie. Les propriétaires sont à l'écoute, serviables et disponibles. Pour une 1ere expérience entre amis nous ne regrettons pas du tout, nous en garderins pleins de souvenirs.

Week-end famille
3 gîtes pour se retrouver en famille c’est idéal. L’espace extérieur est très appréciable pour que les enfants se défoulent. Une gazinière qui ne fonctionne pas dans un des gîtes, 1 seul gîte équipé de chauffage en bas ( oui on peut acheter du bois pour les poêles mais c’est en supplément), manque de lumières. Cet endroit a un fort potentiel qui pourrait être mis un peu plus en valeur.

Attention au froid dans les gites hors saison estivale
Un des couples de notre groupe n'avait pas vérifié si les animaux étaient autorisés et est donc venu avec leur chien (d'appartement). Cela a froissé les propriétaires ce que nous comprenons. Ensuite, il a été reproché aux enfants d'avoir pris l'initiative de retirer la bâche à bulle de la piscine pensant bien faire, car la fille avait l'habitude de le faire chez ses parents, alors que le propriétaire m'avait demandé de le prévenir pour faire la manipulation. J'avais effectivement omis de retransmettre cette information. Nous regrettons donc ces 2 incidents, et nous en sommes bien-sûr excusés. Nous avons donc tout de même été interdit de profiter de la piscine pendant notre séjour au motif que les enfants auraient dégradé la bâche et une épuisette, difficile à vérifier ... Au delà de ces incidents et pour avoir un avis objectif sur la location : Les plus : Le site est en pleine campagne avec un cadre agréable et bien entretenu avec de grands espaces verts. Un certain charme pour ceux qui apprécient les maisons rustiques, cuisine bien équipée en électroménager, toutefois sans lave-vaisselle. Nous avons également été bien acceuillis. Les moins : Nous mettons en garde les locations qui seront effectuées d'octobre à avril. En effet, nous avons eu très froid la première nuit. Les gites sont mal isolés avec des entrées d'air importantes (notamment au niveau d'une porte d'entrée qui s'ouvre difficilement car mal adaptée au cadre) et les systèmes de chauffe (hors poêles) insuffisants. Il serait vraiment préférable d'indiquer clairement dans l'annonce que pour les frileux qui souhaitent avoir au moins 18 degrés dans les gites la nuit que le poêle à bois est indispensable. Prévoyez donc un billet supplémentaire. Une des enfants a tout de même du consulter le médecin le lundi matin et se faire garder par la maman... coïncidence ? La literie n'est pas non plus de première jeunesse. Les gites n'ont pas d'isolation phonique au sein d'un même gite, le bruit (et le froid) passe par le parquet du RDC à l'étage avec des trous ou l'on peut parfois passer un doigt et le voir au plafond du RDC. Enfin, l'option payante linge de maison (pour les draps et serviettes) est précisée dans l'annonce, mais elle est aussi pour les oreillers et couettes (information transmise après règlement de l'acompte) En conclusion, ce gite doit faire l'affaire en saison estivale mais sinon il faut venir en connaissance de cause.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par des hôtes charmants, les 3 gîtes conviennent pour des retrouvailles familiales, nous étions 17.Certains ont dormi dans les canapés lits, mais pour quelques jours, ce n'est pas un problème Le cadre est magnifique, la piscine suffisamment grande pour que tout le monde y trouve son compte Et le soleil était de la partie. En résumé, un lieu parfait pour un bon moment en famille ou entre amis

Très bon accueil des propriétaires. Nous avons été enchantés de l'environnement : bâtisses en pierre, grands espaces autour des gites et piscine que nos ados n'ont pas hésités à utiliser malgré la "fraicheur" (fin sept/début oct). Lieu idéal pour un WE entre amis. Les couchages des chambres sont biens, nous mettrons juste un bémol sur les couchages 'd'appoint" dans les canapés ....qui ont fait l'affaire pour nos ados sur un WE. Nous recommandons. Excellent stay, great for groups
We had a great time staying at Kerlividic with our group. The accomodations are very neat and complete and the owners are very friendly and accomodating. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay with a large group, the area is wonderful and even at the gites there is plenty of space for fun activities.
