The Best ‘Nest’

From arriving to leaving we enjoyed every second we were at the Squirrels Nest. The exterior and interior were amazing!!!! All amenities were in tip top shape. The place was spotless!!!! The atmosphere felt so serene and peaceful. The bed was amazing!Highly recommend!!!!!!

Lovely cabin in wooded area!

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely cabin. So much nicer than staying in a hotel, and a quick drive to stores and restaurants and to visit family. It was really clean, inviting, and the decor was nice. All the comforts of home, quiet, and tucked away in a beautiful area. Comfy bed (2 twins put together as a king which was very comfortable) All the pans/utensils we needed for cooking although we did very little. Nice washer and dryer which was nice since we stayed 6 days. Host was gracious and responsive. We were originally going to stay for a shorter period of time but weather kept us from returning home so host graciously let us stay longer. The price for this adorable place was great. We will definitely be staying here again when returning to visit family. Thank you Inez for sharing your beautiful little home with us!

Nice Stay In Beautiful Spot

The Squirrel's Nest is comfy, homey, and very well equipped. You feel like you are secluded in the woods yet only 5 minutes from all the conveniences that you need.

Peaceful stay in a cozy cabin

Enjoyed everything about our week long stay. Cabin was very clean and comfortable. Nice kitchen and the BBQ out back made preparing meals easy. Great tv and Wi-Fi. Very quiet neighborhood. Had a family of deer come by on two occasions.

Quiet neighborhood in great location

A very cozy and comfortable cabin surrounded by plenty of woods to make it private. Very close to Auburn, convenient to I-80 and SH49. We hiked the trail, gazed at the stars, and woke up to deer in the yard. An absolutely wonderful stay.

Fantastic stay!

Squirrels Nest is an absolute dream! A beautiful accommodation and all the necessary amenities nestled in a forested surrounding. Very comfortable and nicely decorated. Close to the cafe, restaurants, grocery store, etc. We would happily look forward to staying here again! Thanks to our gracious hosts!

Great little house in the woods!

We really enjoyed our stay in the peaceful Squirrel’s Nest. We were secluded in the woods but at the same time just minutes away from anything we needed-shopping, restaurants, hiking and more! The kitchen is spacious and the beds are comfy. It’s really great to be able to relax on the front and back patios and enjoy the birds and squirrels. I would highly recommend this place and look forward to future visits!

Our Meadow Vista Anniversary Retreat.

My wife and I truely enjoyed our anniversary weekend at this very charming home, surrounded by wild flowers which attracted a female deer each morning and evening, a male and female turkey with 3 babies each morning, a pair of long eared jack rabbits each evening. We relaxed among the tall pine trees listening to the birds sing each morning. If you are looking for a place to relax among nature in the forrest, we recommend that you come rent this home. We look forward coming back here very soon.
