"310Guest-House LaVida in Old San Juan is an older building (like ALL of Old San Juan) and, as such, is not well insulated for sound from the often-busy street below. We had a balcony unit so two large doors lead outside to a small balcony. Two windows (above the balcony doors with no curtain or shade) let you know when it's daytime. With no reception desk, the property is accessed using a lockbox system with the combination provided prior to check-in. There isn't a regular cleaning service, but...

I booked a whole home on Green Island with a jacuzzi exactly what it says & I ended up in a 2 flight walk up basic room, the host didn't even speak English or get back in touch with me even though I texted him & told him I didn't speak Spanish. "We have been to this property several times. We usually come at least once a year.. This year, the property is showing signs of neglect and upkeep needed. The room walls had knocks of paint missing. The bathroom grout was disgusting and needs cleaning or regrout work. The pool, which usually is beautiful, had dirt and/ or algae/mold/mildew on the walls and floor. The grassy area was dirt and mud. So disappointed. This is usually our go-to place for a reliable quick get-away from the other side of the island. I can’t imagine my disappointment if I had chosen this as a real “vacation” spot. "

The property was very prompt and responsive with check in detail and answering a few questions for us. The location is wonderful especially if you are being dropped off by uber or taxi. Walkability in OSJ is fantastic. We enjoyed it so much we changed our August accommodations to here! Thank you again! "

"CasaBlana Hotel is incredibly unique. The decor inside is eclectic and impressive. I enjoy the variety of lighting, tile, art, and seating arrangement. The rooftop areas are lovely and provide a great outdoor space to relax. The room overall seemed a little worn, but acceptable. I loved the CasaBlanca Hotel and would absolutely recommend it to anyone. I hope to return!"
