"This is a very remote and quiet hotel with a potential gold mine of a location. They are doing some additions which could make this even more beautiful. I wish they would. Clear some more of the brush that blocks a lot of the lake view. It’s very nice as is but could be breathtaking if they did more clearing. "

"We were local folks looking for a little break. The place is small (as advertised) - two bedrooms, one bathroom a mini fridge/microwave - no formal kitchen. Unfortunately, we got in, walked around and were hit by a really strong smell of cigarette odor. We've got some family allergies and chose not to stay."

"This was a last minute booking and a great price for our group. A few things I'll point out the yard was not kept up.It looks like they had storm damage and everything was still down the yard was not able to be used at all.The coffee pot was not there luckily we brought our own.The pool was cloudy and I had to clean the bugs out when we got there. Nice hotel!

"Attended the Marine Corps Ball. Reception room was beautiful & the Marines decorated the tables beautifully. Rooms are spacious, comfortable, and clean. Dinner was average, nothing special. There didn’t seem to be enough dressing or butter at the table. There also seemed to be quite a lag between first course and the main course, not sure if that was programming issue with the Marines or a kitchen issue."

"We stayed there because we wanted to be right by the Ford Center and wow amazing! At first our the room we received didn't have a view of the ford center and that area so I called down and asked if there was any chance we could switch rooms...within minutes they were able to give me this request and came up and zipped our bags right across rhe hall! It was so amazing! Our trip was strictly all about Dallas Cowboys everything as this is my hubby's favorite fball team so seeing the big screen and having a slight view of the practice field was indeed a big deal for us 😁. Everyone was so nice and everything at this property was clean and beautiful!"
