"Grand house with character in the nice part of town only a 7 min walk to the cathedral. Easy on-street parking. House has a slightly quirky museum-esque feel to it with lots of statues and busts dotted around the place. Room was spacious, bed was huge, shower was excellent and everything felt very clean. Breakfast was simple (cereal, bread, fabulous croissants and fruit) but substantial. Would recommend. "

"Extremely quiet area, very comfortable bed. The bathroom door is made of glass with no privacy which is a little weird, a small curtain would be an easy adition.Bread and viennoiserie for breakfast seemed day old, but having a kitchen with a microwave and toaster helped. The owners had shared they wouldn't be available in the morning for personal reasons it was nice to be able to make more coffee ourselves."

"We arrived after reception closed and left early morning but staff were very friendly and helpful on the phone and left clear instructions on how to get in. The room was large and the beds were comfortable. Free breakfast was also great! Lovely building and peaceful town, and we want to come back to explore the historical area. "

"Very nice stay, Chloe not on site, but rooms are available once you book. Very peaceful and quiet. Parking on street is safe. Breakfast if you order it is delivered to your door usually by 7am or whenever you want. Goid choice of items and very tasty."

"Such an idyllic and beautiful place surrounded by stunning lakes and lush forests. It was truly a beautiful one night stay that I wish could’ve lasted longer. "Chambre d'hotes coquelicot is in a quiet area with little to no noise, and a good position for anyone who wants to visit the ww1 war graves, or if travelling through. The host, Manu, speaks good english and was very helpful and explained everything that we needed to know about the accommodation. "I had the pleasure of staying at Villa des Iris at the beginning of December. For the first time after several months of traveling, I unfortunately, made a mistake in my dates and arrived unannounced and unexpected. That said, Jack and his wife were so welcoming and kind and accommodated me for 2 (vs the originally booked 1 night). I was the only one staying in the villa, but I had a very cozy and wonderful stay while I visited Bervais and Amiens."

"Excellent place to stay. We extended by one night. Clean and comfortable with street parking. Front desk staff were very helpful. My only concern is the 150 euro bond money has not been returned to my card yet. It has been six days since we checked out and have sent two messages to the hotel but not received any response. Our stay was very good and the kitchen let us have home cooked meals. Apart from the return of bond money would recommend this hotel."
