This is a perfect space for working professionals looking for temporary accommodations with all the amenities of home. For writers, bird watchers or artists and nature lovers of any kind seeking a quite space to work, walk, ski, bike, or snow shoe the trails and get a little alone time to focus on upcoming projects with out the distractions of home. (Bike and Snow shoes available). A great little nest for two, just looking for a cozy night, or week away from home. We have a summer seasonal humble sized yoga studio room with a variety of board games and a ceiling mounted projector for your yoga, movie or game nights. We also have various books for the nature lover or spiritual seeker, health enthusiast, philosopher, folklorists and foragers alike. Fridge space available or mini fridge. Sheets are provided and bedding provided upon request, along with towels. Heating in room controlled by you. We provide basic hand soap in the bathrooms, and dish-soap in the kitchen. All your creature comforts from home are here such as communal dishes, kitchen amenities, cookware and appliances. As well as a plethora of herbal and medicinal teas, just ask! Limited Laundry use is also available for no extra fee. This is a very open concept living room and kitchen space with 1.5 bath/shower, and large balcony with hammock and fresh herbs from May through September. A lovely little spot for some one on one time with your loved one, mother daughter weekend away or space to recharge while passing through Peterborough for work. We are also conveniently located a ten minute walk to the Superstore and mall and directly on two bus routes directly to downtown and to the college and university. Just about a 25 minute stroll to the YMCA and Chapters or a 6 minute drive to downtown cafes and coffee and tea shops. 40 minute scenic, walk to the art gallery, and little lake. Bike hook available inside and bike stand outside, and a 10 minute bike ride to the park with playground and small sandy beach for swimming or fishing.
We are located a shop away from a cute and locally iconic 50’s themed breakfast diner.
