"Check in was a nightmare. Family was supposed to meet host at airport with a cot - but he was no where to be found. Directions to villa were very scattered but finally arrived met by housekeeper and shown around the villa. It was old and in need of some updating but very comfortable for our party of 10. Beds and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. Pool was lovely although it was still warm enough to swim in the sea. All in all a wonderful holiday."

"Im not sure how to describe this place. The view is unreal, te pictures dont do it justice. The pool is hjge, gardens spotless. Close by access to the sea which was stunning. "The resort has an array of facilities – pools, basketball and soccer courts, restaurant and spa. They also have a fair amount of dining options. The front desk staff were very helpful and kind. Georgia helped me find a local osteopath to treat a recurring back issue, which helped. "We stayed at 6 different hotels on our trip to Sicily and this was our favorite. The setting is beautiful, the property very well kept. The staff was gracious and kind. The breakfast was wonderful- so many handmade pastries and cookies, delicious and so inviting. We did not know they offered dinner or we would have tried that too. Room was very quiet and clean. "

Enchanting Villa, with private pool and enchanting views of Etna Vulcano

Idealic estate

"My wife and I invited friends to join us for a week at Villa Stella. We all had a wonderful time enjoying the prime property on a cliff overlooking Mt Etna and Mediterranean Sea. The property and building is just amazing place to enjoy with friends. The stonework needs a lot of pointing and areas of rebuilding but am amazed at the work that was put into the building in its construction years past. I am a long distance swimmer and was in heaven having quiet waters to swim in. The only issue which is common in the Mediterranean now days are the jellyfish population. If I return I would bring a full body suit and gloves to better prevent possible stings on my long swims. On one stroke I punched down into the center of the bell and luckily did not get stung as the tentacles are on the underside. A car is a must to enjoy the exquisite restaurants in nearby brucoli which is a 15 min drive. recommended for high end dining is Straventa and Castello. The closest restaurant has great laidback fare across the bay on the beach is Il Triangolo. The only drawback is like I said needs a lot of work to make it perfect but if that happens I probably couldn’t afford to stay at it,so as long as you are fine with a few imperfect items you will love it."

"This property was excellent! Very close to town but beautiful property. We were only able to stay one night, but breakfast was wonderful. A huge spread was laid out and you didn’t know where to go to first. Staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. Rooms were very Clean I would highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Syracuse"
