"Conveniently situated for our journey and also for refuelling and a supermarket. Clean, comfortable room and a good shower enabled a peaceful night's sleep. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. A kettle was available on request to make a hot drink. The tasty and filling breakfast was reasonable priced too. "We spent 3 days in the "cowshed" room at Le Bois Gautier. The accommodation was very spacious with a full kitchen and a large bedroom and bathroom upstairs. We received a warm welcome from the new owner Bill who had prepared a log fire for our arrival, this made the accommodation very cosy and was a great touch. "The hotel I would describe as average. A little outdated and the hallway was decorated in a really dark wallpaper which made it very dark and dismal.. The room was ok and the bed comfortable. The grouting in the bathroom was a bit black and mouldy. The lighting in the room needs to be improved as it was also very dark. The receptionist explained everything and we didn't have any problems."
