We loved that this stay made us feel like we were in Paris. The view from our windows was a secluded garden, complete with the smell of jasmine, a crooked path, outdoor dining table, and even a local cat. Entrance into our stay consisted of two coded, gated entrances into the garden, then keys to our own apartment door. We felt safe AND the area (11th arrond.) felt very safe with many restaurants nearby, a patisserie across the street, laundromat down the street, several grocery stores within a block and wine store around the corner. The manager was very welcoming and spoke English. She allowed us to leave our luggage while we were waiting to check in on Friday and after we checked out at 11 Monday morning for an entire day while we did more sightseeing in Paris before we headed for the airport that night. Try the Brasserie de ChaCha a couple of blocks away on the same street (recommended by the property.) We ate there several times. We also bought some breakfasts, lunches and snacks at the patisserie-the bread, the raspberry and strawberry tartes all were wonderful. We also made some clothing purchases at the Saturday market (wonderful deals for our teenage girls.) The beds at the stay were comfy. The host provided a hairdryer (great for our girls) and starter items like tea, coffee, sugar. There are two bathrooms and beds for six. We opened the huge windows for cooling. The metro is a 5-8 minute walk down the street. Use a taxi to the stay(~65 euros from CDG.)
