“Rooms are not the ones we booked and payd for via Expedia. Official hotel prices are much lower in VND. Very friendly man at our reception! Room small, but OK and clean. Good bed, hot water and aircon/heating. Elevator. No restaurant, no tour booking, no breakfast, no information on anything. No money changer. Leaving at 8.30a.m., nobody on reception dedk; card with only telephone number. All in all not bad, but also not really good. Very limited service. But there's a rooftop bar with……

“Staff is super friendly and helpful, helped us to organise sightseeing tours and let us leave our luggage while we went to Sapa. Breakfast is good and you can order Vietnamese coffee. Great location. Rooms are well equipped and laundry service is fast.”

“Very friendly staff and great customer and plus clean rooms I enjoyed my stayed with my wife and many places to visit around the Sapaly Lao Cai city hotel I appreciate the manger and the staff talking with us with everything we need and accommodations I’m very impressed by the service and hospitality thank you again so much I appreciate for our visit in Lao Cai city and the hotel Sapaly ”

“Staff was kind but facilities so old that even light off in the night impossible. Door locking was some time out of order that dangerous. I do not recommend this hotel.”

“At check in, they kept insisting we have not paid for our room!, we had to show her our cc statement that it’s paid for. They won’t give us a room with a view, even though we were the only people staying there. We had to keep our curtains closed throughout as it was directly to an open top of the next building. At checkout, we were asked to pay for our room again! On our insistence, they let us go, as I said’ we paid for our room when we booked! Nice hotel, but the insisting that we have not……

“ホテルはとても良いです立地も中心地に近くて便利観光するにはとても良いホテルですただ旅行した時期が悪くコロナウィルス問題で100%の人が中国人と思い怖い目で睨みつけるカラオケの店では日本人と言っても帰れと怒鳴られた観光中不愉快なことばかりだった”

“No service, no information, we went to get breakfast 9:15 but apparently breakfast ended at 9am we were not informed of this. We took the free bottles of water from the room, and they tried to charge us for them, because they were cold(we put them in the fridge) There was a hole in the bathroom door. The douche/bidet/hose was leaking, so the bathroom floor was flooded all the time. No one can speak any English, so communication is via translator apps ”
