When we arrived there were several minor things such as sheets, towels, and pillows that were given to us once asked for. However, the major issue that was mentioned was never resolved. I sent several messages over the week and no response was ever given.
We originally reached out and asked about the cleanliness issue before booking. We were told the issue had been resolved, so we went ahead and booked a weeks stay. Overall, the condo was fairly clean but many things such as chairs, lamps, and the dishwasher were broken.
This was the MAJOR issue, the dishwasher. After a day at the beach we came up to the room to cook. However, as soon as you opened up the dishwasher, it smelled of rotten fish. We ran it but it did not help much. There was a pool of stagnant water at the bottom, which seemed to be causing part of the issue. Therefore we washed everything by hand because who wants to wash with stinky unclean water. We did this for the entire week we stayed there. Yes, ever plate, utensil, and pan was washed by hand!
However, things did get worse! By day 4, the water would no longer drain in the sink. Food was backed up as the garbage disposal would not work either. Now we have stagnant water in the sink. I again received no response and this problem was never fixed during our stay. Each day the smell got worse. By the day we left, you did not want to be near the kitchen.
I find it interesting that when I asked how to pay, I immediately got a response. But when there is a problem while we are staying in the condo for a week, we heard nothing.
We enjoyed our stay at the Summit but we will not be staying in this room again.
