The property was very nicely maintained and light. All of the described amenities were present. The house rules were very reasonable. The only complaint would be that someone didn’t check the supply of consumables very well, and we only had two trash bags for the kitchen. All in all, excellent property and would be willlimg to rent again.

Christmas Celebration
Stunning property and grounds, perfect for unplugging and enjoying a belated Christmas celebration. Owners were always available and went out of their way to help make the place cozy, providing ample necessities (towels, firewood, pillows/blankets, snacks, cooking staples, even pizza dough!). Slept 10 quite comfortably utilizing only one of the air mattresses upstairs (pre-inflated!). Our group got a kick out of the many birds roaming the grounds. Looking forward to our next visit.

Rustic Woods in Palmerton, PA - A Great Place
Let me start by saying I can’t wait to go back! It was my wife’s birthday, and we invited our son, his wife, and two grandchildren, ages 14 and 10, to join us for a weekend at the Rustic Woods cabin. It was the middle of October, the trees were in spectacular color, and the weather was perfect, cool nights and sunny, pleasant days. The cabin: A spectacular great room centered first floor with a wonderful wood-burning insert fireplace. Easy to use and toasty all day and night. The cabin has heat and AC, but the fireplace was so cozy and inviting. Couches and easy chairs, a grand dining table, and a top-notch kitchen with all the conveniences. The first floor also has a full bath. The second floor has all bedrooms and a full bath, with very comfortable mattresses, lots of windows, spectacular views, and interesting knick-knacks. The grounds: There are walking paths, ducks, geese, ponds, play areas, a pavilion with grills and an outdoor wood-burning pizza oven, fire pits, and expansive seating areas. Nestled in a little valley surrounded by forested mountains, you lose yourself to the environment. All the stress of everyday life melts away, and you feel at one with the nature you are surrounded by. There is some traffic on the road that you arrive on, but it is sporadic country living traffic, not abusive. What a wonderful and relaxing outdoor-oriented property. The owners: Charming and helpful people, never in the way. They provided a ton of split firewood for every occasion. They also provided a case of water and a pie, fruit, and candy, Pizza dough with fixings (for the outdoor pizza oven), and all kinds of nice touches so you feel welcome and confident in the area. They even had the fireplace and the pizza oven hot when we arrived. So you can see why we will rent this property again as soon as we can. I thoroughly recommend the property and the owners. You will have a wonderful time here.
