"We stayed one night at Chalet Kilauea near Volcano, and it was definitely an interesting experience. Everything is self-service here—no front desk, you pick up the key yourself and just head straight to your room. It’s a pretty cool setup, and there's a supply room if you run out of anything, which was nice. The room itself was pretty unique, kind of like a wooden cabin structure. The bathroom felt like stepping back to the Stone Age, but it was still okay for a one-night stay. The place is super quiet, which we appreciated. It's very close to Volcano Park, so it's great if you're planning to explore there. The only downside was I did spot a cockroach in the room, which wasn’t ideal. But overall, for the price and the location, it wasn't too bad. Not much to complain about, just be prepared for the self-service vibe and keep an eye out for critters!"

"Check-in and check-out was simple and quick. Staff was amazing, and place of stay was perfect along with the location and view. Black Sandy Beach, within walking distance and beeath taking sceneries! Thank you! "

"It was unclear whether we were to have breakfast or not. We thought we were getting the continental breakfast but because we had a kitchen (which we didn’t use) we were not given breakfast. As far as the lava tube goes, we were told you had to have a guided tour. Communication in advertising not clear. "

"Having booked this online, I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival. The inn is in the rainforest, and very charming. Our host greeted us upon arrival and was extremely helpful throughout our stay. Everything was very clean, spacious, and conveniently located to Volcano National Park. I highly recommend staying here."
