「We really enjoyed the property and it was perfect for the six of us. It was clean, nicely decorated and felt homey. My only suggestion would be to have some firewood available for the fire pit area.」

「My family and I stayed here on our trip to the Crater of Diamonds State Park. This place was really nice! Decorated beautifully, awesome kitchen and both rooms very spacious with their own full bathrooms. The cabin has a large back deck and awesome firepit and grill area. They have bags, football and soccer ball for family and kids to play with. Also there was mining tools which means we didnt have to rent. I would recommend anyone stay here they wont be disappointed!」

「Cabin was amazing. Beds were very comfortable. The property was so nice well kept and the river is right in the back of the property. We had does and spotted fawns in the yard with us all week Not spooked by us. Really cool to see. The drive in after the gate. Make sure you can get up and down a few gravel hills not for smaller low vehicles. But when you get to the cabin.... Oh boy it is so nice and so quiet. Deer Turkey Otters. 「The cabin was very cute and it's in a little circle community of other cabins and campers. The people that live there for extended periods of time are really nice, it's a miner's camp right up the road from Crater of Diamonds. You have to cross the road to get to the restroom center (it's like a lake community bathroom) but the road wasn't all that active that you had to worry about it. 「The home was beautiful, accommodating, and extremely spacious. It was so much fun showing my nephews items that their grandmother grew up with. 「We stayed at the Gemstone for 3 nights, and enjoyed every minute. There were so many amenities that were so well thought out - from the blackout blinds, a small portable lantern for night time exploring or power outages, to the cute table on the back deck to hold sporting equipment. We also loved the big kitchen table for meals and our games every night.」

「well appointed kitchen, beds comfortable/clean. No HVAC system, room heater wouldn't work, ceiling in living room coming down, screen porch in poor repair, no towels (think at least there should be) no outlet in. bathroom and no place to plug in hair dryer & use a mirror. I had asked for a number to call owner & didn't get one, I arrived late due to numerous traffic delays, used ring doorbell and said to leave a message, as I was walking away it started talking to me and told me where to go....

「Such a wonderful place to stay! Smells great as soon as you open the door, and the water pressure was amazing! It was well stocked with everything needed and more. The daddy long legs look very different from the ones in Texas so i recommend looking then up before you go...lol ( they were not in the house, just outside) Overall it was a peaceful place to stay.」
