Outlying Islands Bar Hotel

"I stayed at this hotel for almost three months, and I would rate both the hotel and the room at a B-. The property is starting to show signs of age. The best thing about my stay was that my room was located at the far corner, offering a nice mountain view, which made it quieter. Keep in mind that the other side of the hotel is under construction, so noise could be an issue if you plan to stay long-term. I would rate the hotel staff a B as well. They need improve in customer service, and a bit more friendliness, like a smile, could make a positive difference. One suggestion for the hotel: It would be great if they could send a text message once the room cleaning is done. There were times when I had to wait a long time at the shopping mall for the room to be cleaned. I did use the emergency medical services once for a friend, and the staff was very professional and helpful. I was impressed with that team."

"Normally dont write reviews but i optioned go cx my previous hotel and booked ibis hotel in sheung wan after a bad experience and im so glad i did! It was spacious, new and clean. Got the breakfast buffet included as well which i rec to save money! Not too far from sheung wan station or the airport bus. Easy access to get to mainland HK as well. Lots of great local restaurants near by as well. Will stay again! "
