not clean at all
When we arrived the home smelled strongly of cigarettes. As we walked in we noticed the floors were not swept in the kitchen or vacuumed in the bedrooms, there was literally wrappers on the ground and dirt everywhere. The kitchen counters had some sort of crumbs all over them because everything we picked up had crumbs on it. There was hair in the bathroom sink. We arrived late at night so we decided to go to sleep and deal with it in the morning. Thankfully the bed sheets were clean. In the morning I went to the store and bought some cleaning supplies and when I returned the housekeeper met me and asked if we had everything we needed. I let her know that I just bought a few things but a vacuum and extra toilet paper would be appreciated. She brought both and told me we could hang onto the vacuum during our stay. I bought an air freshener for the bedroom so we could mask the smell of the cigarettes. I will leave it here for the next customer. I also bought 409 and cleaned the entire kitchen and bathroom. I will leave that here as well. I did vacuum, but not the upstairs. There are still wrappers up there that need to be cleaned up off the floor that were not ours. I would like my cleaning fee returned because it is not right to charge someone a cleaning fee but not give them a clean place to stay.
