"We stayed in the luxury family room which was massive, we had four beds two at either end of the main room with a lounge, TV and seating area in between. The room has a large bathroom containing two different shower/bath options allowing two people to shower separately at the same time and a separate toilet. The hotel is only a short walk from Kyoto Station which contains many restaurants and food and transport options. I highly recommend this hotel, I would definitely stay here again."

"I am absolutely obsessed with this hotel & will be back for my next trip to Japan. staff were extremely accommodating & helpful despite any language barrier (easily solved with google translate). the amenities alone are amazing & don’t get me started on the breakfast! please be sure to book yourself breakfast for at least one or two days so you can experience it. one of my favorite meals in the entirety of my trip. "Loved having a drawer of kimonos to choose from to wear for our stay! The room was wonderful and we saw the beautiful sunrise from our bed. It was really a special experience. The private bath on our balcony was so nice and relaxing. The staff is super, very well trained and attentive. They make you feel special from the moment you walk in with a snack and a drink. We purchased some quality souvenirs from the gift shop. The half board is a grand experience. The onsens are unforgettable. I went early and had the whole place to myself."
