"This is a very traditional ryokan experience and I had a wonderful time!!! I stayed 2 nights after some time in Tokyo and the vibes were immaculate. Upon arrival you take off your shoes and are greeted, given a tour of the place, escorted to your assigned room, and then given a welcome matcha! They serve you a traditional Japanese breakfast that differs every morning (you book this in advance when you arrive) The bath/shower area is shared but you have to reserve a time slot to utilize it...
