Very comfortable 2nd line apartment close to the Sea and shops

Enjoy your holiday with your family and friends there is a large swimming shared pool for fun after the beach, with shallow kids pool to the side. Seats and permanent umbrellas for shade. Lovely maintained gardens,with swings and slides for youngsters. Short walk to the beach takes you though tropical gardens and play areas, to an open terrace with dancing and entertainment till midnight in high season. Two adventure parks, one for up to 8yrs and one for teenagers.
For the adults there is the largest scientific sea water health spa facility at the 5* hotel along with a wide range of services : cafeterias, shops, supermarkets, sports areas, magnificent walks, a fantastic children's set around the sea water health spa on the sea front, in one of the most attractive spots on the Mediterranean

Hemos pasado una semana de vacaciones y hemos estado muy bien. El apartamento es perfecto para pasar unos días y todo está muy limpio. La piscina es estupenda. Una estancia perfecta

Hemos disfrutado de unos días estupendos alojados en el partamento. Está muy bien equipado y sus dimensiones permiten albergar a cuatro adultos muy comodamente. La zona es tranquila y permite tener distanciamiento social si se desea, pese a ello se encuentra próximo a varios servicios como supermercado y varios establecimientos, al igual que la playa. Agradecer a Lisa su disponibilidad y rapidez para solucionar cualquier duda con una gran amabilidad.

Positives - Oropesa is very wheelchair accessible with wide pavements and plentiful dropped kerbs. Negatives - Property was wholly misrepresented as being wheelchair accessible - it isn't. Apart from steps at the front door and on to the terrace, the rooms are far too small to get a wheelchair around. As an example, the only clear floor space in the bathroom was directly in front of the handbasin, less than a square metre, and my smaller than average chair wouldn't go through the narrow door anyway. Even for someone who can mobilise a short distance, the lack of handrails would make the bathroom a challenge. Also the wifi didn't work, basic items such as a bread knife were absent, the toilet was leaking, using the shower flooded the bathroom and hallway, most of the light bulbs didn't work and the towels and linen provided were so old they were almost transparent. Many of these issues could and should have been dealt with fairly promptly by the local management company, however nothing had been done in the 3 days we actually stayed, not even the offer of a lightbulb or replacement towels. The apartment was supposed to be air conditioned - and it was, but by only one unit located in the lounge. We know from experience that this isn't adequte in hot weather - most often it's getting a decent night's sleep that's priority - and given the expected temperature by December, it was never going to be adequate for heating either. Even withouth all of those issues, the apartment is tiny - the kitchen is so small that saucepans and crockery have to be stored in the lounge and you have to close the door in order to open the fridge door, the lounge only has seating for 2 people and there was no dresser or similar in either of the bedrooms so nowhere to put clothing that doesn't hang or even to put a hairbrush down. Oropesa is probably OK in the summer if you don't mind a beach backed by rows of highrise apartment blocks, but by mid October it was dead. We couldn't find a single bar or restaurant open for lunch (or dinner for that matter) and half the business appear to have been closed for years.

3 time we are here, excellent again. All you need is there, kitchen utillities,good beds, washmachine and nice balcony. We did most on our bikes, very beautiful surrounding with oranges, olivetrees and other fruits. Was great again. Thanks Lisa
