Scenic and peaceful
We had a truly relaxing stay at the Solterra resort home. Plenty of spacious bedrooms all with ceiling fans and extra pillows and blankets. The kitchen was well-appointed with a large pantry for storage. It even included a great blender and air fryer. Seating was comfortable and there was enough for our group of 11. There were also plenty of baby equipment for our 8 month old grandson. The high chair was left very clean. Only thing missing was a crib sheet for the playpen that we forgot to pack.
Our favourite thing about this property was the pool area and scenic view. The pond behind the property gave us so much enjoyment as well as privacy. We would have rated the location higher if it wasn’t for the constant traffic getting in and out of the resort. But since the resort itself was so beautiful, we didn’t leave often enough for it to be a big problem.
The resort - beautiful heated pools and lots of fun for all ages. Although quite restrictive as to children playing, not allowed balls or any toys in the pool. The food and beverage area was well-priced and quite good.
A couple notes for improvement - yellow bedroom was hotter than the rest and mattress due for a refresh. We paid for the pool heat and pool was almost too hot.
Any time we reached out to the management with any issues, the response was quick, friendly and efficient.
We didn’t use any of the games in the garage as it was too hot to stay in there long.
