"The standout feature of this property is undoubtedly its location. To be honest, I likely wouldn’t have chosen this hotel if it weren’t for its beachfront setting. The rooms are in serious need of renovation. While the size was adequate and the balcony was a nice touch, the décor and fixtures felt outdated, and there was a noticeable mildew smell. "The moon beach museum resort is a literal slice of paradise!!!! I would absolutely stay again in a heartbeat. My husband and I went for our honeymoon during a three week trip to Japan, and after the hustle and bustle of Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka, it was the perfect way to finish our trip. "Japanese style (or I should say Okinawa style) breakfast was spot on and delicious! Wide variety of local cuisines to include tappanyaki steak was top quality. Courtesy fireworks was also a surprise, my children especially loved it! I’d definitely stay here again."

"The property was fabulous although I have to say the restaurants at the hotel were very overpriced so we found we had to leave most of the time to eat. For $45 per person breakfast charge is a good example of excessive charges. As well, you had to pay for beach chairs if you're at the beach, which should probably be supplied to hotel guests. Really beautiful hotel though and the indoor pools were great. "
